Manual transmission

I cant use manual with clutch even with the manual transmission in any car, the car just shifts on its own and when I reset the car it says "arcade automatic" in the top left corner. The clutch works but I cant shift the car myself even though all the buttons are mapped. I'm using a xbox one controller.

How do I use manual transmission?

Q cycles the control mode.

If the car has a manual installed Q will cycle from Arcade Automatic to Manual with Automatic Clutch to Manual.
If the car has an automatic installed, Q will cycle from Arcade Automatic to Realistic Automatic (in which the gear shifting keys are used to shift the car between Park, reverse, neutral, drive, 2 and 1).
