    While of course I agree with you on keeping WIP mods unzipped (I work on them unpacked), you can actually edit zipped files. 7zip, open archive, open file, edit file, save file, 7zip prompts to update archive.

    Good to know that! I haven't got time to mess around yet with jbeams but I'll be working on another project soon, this sure will help.
    Zip files are useful to transfer files, I don't get why we're forced to use them for the mods. Now we have to change folder to update the dae.:(

    Guys, only me have such problem? when i clicking on units on digital speedometr, nothing happens. i cant switch it to kph... :(

    Yeah just keep the vehicle folder in content/vehicles. You don't have to zip it every time, and often it is just open file, change one digit, ctrl+r ingame, see, do again etc.
    RoR was horrible in terms of this, because you had to, open ingame, look, quit game, unzip edit, zip. Was terrifying.

    DirectX gives us the resolutions, they are not hardcoded.

    An awkward one for the UK. Weights for us should be in Kg, so you select metric and get Kg in the UI apps, but then the speedo switches to Km/h when we use Mph.

    So um this has probably been reported already but the Covet's rear suspension falls apart when you spawn it.

    No it doesnt. My mod conflicts with it, I think another mod may also conflict it. Remove both, covet works fine.

    Hi guys. I've had a look around on the forums and can't find anything on my problem so i don't know if it's just me. Since the latest update the custom sounds on mod vehicles aren't working (e.g: pigeon 4x4 and slayers Covet mod). Is there a way to fix this or is it a problem?

    like a growing number of people I use steam stream to play BeamNG, I have my gaming rig in the garage logged into steam and I have a laptop in the house which gives me the ability to play system intensive games in my underpowered laptop via steam stream. It works perfectly with a single exception.

    BeamNG loads fine without any controllers plugged in, but if I have my 360 controller plugged into the laptop when trying to launch the stream the game fails to start.

    I next tried loading the stream without the controller, then once the stream is started and the game was working fine I plugged the controller in and the controler works.

    This was great but when going into the options menu to look at controls the game crashes, specifically when I click Input then Advanced or try to detect the controller once plugged in the game crashes.

    so essentially, Beamng through Steam streaming while trying to use a 360 controller has some issues at present.

    Has anyone else experienced anything like this or found a solution to prevent it crashing? if someone can replicate my scenario, ie log on to steam 2 computers, launch beamng using "stream" with a 360 controller plugged into the computer you are on and see if it fails to load.

    I have already reinstalled through Steam and cleared my cache.

    I had a similar problem once.
    I plugged my phone in at the exact moment the titlescreen appeared, and BeamNG just crashed.
    Wasn't able to replicate it ever since though.

    Updated to 0.4.0.4 and I'm getting this. Entire clumps of trees disappearing/re-appearing, sometimes their shadows stay, sometimes just gone.
    This happens at start up and appears to happen in just one area of my map. Caches deleted. The .dae's and shadows are there so I'm thinking an LOD bug?

    an update to my previous post, I can now access the controller options in the menu. which is great. But I still cannot load the game at all with the controller plugged in before launching. Not a major issue as I simply plug it in after the game launches

    im pleased to say that when I fired up beamng yesterday with the controller attached it started fine. not sure if a steam update added to the most recent beamng update has done the trick but its working great with no crashes :)

    Just downloaded 0.4.0.5, and I'm crashing every time I load a level. Cleared my docs BeamNG folder, still doing it.
    Where are the t3d logs, because I can upload them...

    Maybe you can address something else minor, my starting screen (with the trees/grass blowing in the wind) in the last few updates has been like super low quality, like it looks like it's rendering in low quality at a super low resolution (it looks like 240p on youtube :p). It's not the starting buttons on the side of the screen, it's the background scene.

    And fix released, should work well after the update now. Sorry for that :/

    Also, we disabled force feedback, we'll fix it tomorrow.
