The terrain has waaaay too small friction. I can't drive a simple turn without sliding off the track. I can't roll down a hill, instead the car slides down

It's called physics. That's what real cars do.

nah man, the tires just have way to little grip. I mean the sports car is barely drivable because it just slides around like an idiot.

It's not physics when you fall to the ground high speed nose down and slide instead of rolling.

Yeah, Marshal should be able to go easly up on a 20 deegrees hill through the grass on 1st or even 2nd gear, but it has not enough grip, and theese are not real life physics :p. In my opinion all cars should have better grip (and offroad tires should be able to climb on a very steepness hill if enough power) AND they all need to be a little bit heavier. Maybe the poor grip is caused by the weight?

I agree the grip is to low. In real life, cars do not slip and slide like this. I can't go 20 MPH on a small turn without the car slipping off the road. A good example of this is on the island map. When I'm just lightly cruising down the road and there's a turn, I HAVE to go to a near full stop. In real life, you can easily take a pickup truck and go 20 MPH on a 90 (or at least 80) degree turn. I've done it, and the car didn't slide a bit, why can't the game do it?

Sometimes it feels fine, sometimes it doesn't.

I feel like the main problem is with the Covet. If I slam the steering wheel into its lock while moving, I expect horrible understeer, not for the rear to kick out.

Yeah that's disappointing me after a big high speed when the car hits the ground nose first whilst having plenty of forward momentum and just slides when without a doubt in real life the nose would have bitten into the road and caused the car to do some crazy cartwheels and flips.. None the less, It is only an Alpha so far so be patient and it will get fixed no doubt! :D

No. Have you ever drove a comparably sized car? Anything on grass won't move very quick, if at all, let alone climb a 20 degree incline.

That's the dumbest shit I've read this week. Shows how many of you actually drive vehicles in the real world.

The vehicles all have a correct amount of static cornering grip, if not too much. The pickup truck (D15) can pull 1G. If the car lost grip it's because you were taking the turn too fast. It's a pickup truck, not a sports car.

Completely agree !! I go serious off roading in land rovers and there limit is 45 deg ! so i dont think some pic up that you " so call drive" can do 80 !! If you dont like the game then dont play it !

really? the Civetta Bolide has like no grip at all. just slightly pressing the gas pedal while standing still already makes it losing its grip.

It's a supercar without race tires or steering aids. That's what's supposed to happen.

I know that it is slippery terrain, but if you won't push it to the maximum and just drive at steady low speed, then it should not slip down.

I'm not talking about how cars act on high speeds, because that is ok, but how some of them are unable to slowly climb on a small hill

yeah no, I don't know man.

I'm playing other race simulators without any aids, and don't have problems at all, but with this car you can't even get a way from a spot without screeching tires, no matter how little you push the pedal(I use a gaming wheel).
The tires for this car should be tweaked.

Have you ever seen a paved road that had a 20 degree incline? Regular roads usually are not steeper than about 12% which equals 6.8 degree while your 20 degree hill equals a 36% incline. Many road cars would struggle to drive up such a road if it would be paved. Regular tires have very little friction on grass, there is no way you can drive up a 36% hill covered in grass or dirt in a fat RWD sedan.
