For some weird reason, I can no longer load maps correctly. Here's an example of what happens.

The camera is stuck here and nothing happens. The Outgauge and the game worked the first time I used it, but now I just end up like this.

OK, what else does this do other than duplicate information that can already be shown on my PC screen?

If that is all it does then I can't really see the advantage of faffing about trying to get it working. Neat idea I guess but it seems like a bit of a gimmick. I think it would be more of a distraction having to look away from your screen.
It would be like having an app that gets the title of the YouTube video you are watching on your PC and displays it on your tablet. Why, just why? The title is right there on screen why would I need it on another separate screen that I'm not looking at?

There has to be more to this than simply duplicating information to a place that's more inconvenient to look at.

What am I missing here? I'm finding it hard to see the point in this. Can somebody please enlighten me.

WinKey + R or Start > Run , Copy and paste this
    Code:
    "%appdata%\..\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\alpha_prerace\BeamNG.drive.exe" -luasocket
@logoster, you can do KPH with by setting the KPH variable to 0, or using my LUA on the first page and setting useKMH to 1.

He's trying to explain that he tried to get it to work on his table using ipv4 and ipv6 but neither worked, even after restarting BNG

Is there a secret to getting this working? The instructions are simple enough to understand. I've even tried replacing my .lua file with Dummiesmans (changing the IP address of course), that was also a no-go. Re-installed LFSdashboard and Beamng many times as well. Could it be an issue of not being compatible with the latest version of Beamng or with Samsung devises? I have a Galaxy Tab 4 and a Galaxy S4.

Does Outgauge still work with the newer BeamNG versions? I can't get it to work with my Galaxy Note 2014 Edition, but it would be nice to know whether it is working :) I am planning to do that on an instrument cluster from a BMW E36 :)

    Error:

26.06225|E|libbeamng.object|lua/vehicle/outgauge.lua:151: attempt to perform arithmetic on upvalue 'timer' (a userdata value)

    Is occuring all the time..

Outgage is most likely outdated since BeamNG really has not spoke about it alot. and there is no updates for this thread, It would be nice to have locked or bumped to behind the walls of this forum till this thread creator updated it :D

Okay, if that's the case, I will have to learn coding in lua to create an interface for my application.. Some extra work to do, but I want too see that instrument cluster working :D
