Throttle, brakes, pedals, and so on are recognized, but the steering wheel is still locked. With the older versions 0.4.0.2 to 0.4.0.4 there were no problems (at least when the terrain starts the wheel was unlocked).

The reinstallation of the Logictech driver and the reboot of my PC didn't help so far... I hope you have a solution. Thanks in advance!

They temp. removed the force feedback in the latest update.
maybe you will need to map your controls yourself too, i didnt check.

From Brunswick (Braunschweig, Germany) to New Brunswick.... ;-)

The mapping is ok. If I rotate the steering wheel a few degrees (more isn't possible because the electromotor inside wants to hold the wheel in the center position), I can see that the tires also turn a little bit left and right. I tried it with the center function (disable/enable), but it has no effect in the running game. When I open the Logictech Profiler and go to the property-tab, my steering wheel will be unlocked for the time the property window is activated.

I remember that I had the same problem once (!) with 0.4.0.2. (I bought the game a few weeks ago via Steam). After reconnecting the USB plug everything was ok. But now... damned... :(

This may be a consequence of FFB being disabled for the time being. Please try changing force feedback strength (in windows control panel), as well as wheel centering spring, down to 0% (or disable them), and see if that helps.

How about a downgrade to 0.4.0.4...? How can I execute such a step? Yesterday I wanted to test my first vehicle construction work, but I spent the whole evening for (not-)solving my problem. (Yes, I know, it's an alpha-version.... but I want to crash cars. )

Unfortunately it doesn't help much. I changed the values a couple of times and tried different adjustments. When I set the force feedback values to 0, I can turn the steering wheel only with some strain (don't know if it's the right word for it). Before the update the steering wheel was turnable lightly (I could steer the cars with one finger, now I need both hands).

I also own one of these, I need some help to work something out with mine, with no cable plugged in, should it be easy to turn or hard to turn?

It's in between easy and hard. you shouldn't have to force it to move, but it wont turn without you moving it.

Ok, I think it's broken, doesn't help that I don't have a power supply for it

The power supply is what feeds the force feedback. you can still play without it but you wont have FFB in any games.
