Which is better, DiRT Rally or Assetto Corsa ?
I want to buy it quickly today, because this is the last day of the "Steam Summer Sale", so i need a quick suggestion.

The both of the games have a same price, but I can't buy two of them because i don't have a lot of money.
So, I really hope someone can help me out.

    Thanks :)

Don't bother getting Assetto Corsa unless you have a proper wheel/pedal setup.

DiRT Rally. Assetto Corsa is nowhere near realistic when it comes to controls.

Without any doubt Dirt rally. please for your own good. get dirt rally. it is so realistic. i dont even know why assetto corsa is popular cuz when i tried it at my friends. it sucked a lot. but thats my personal opinion.
    just get dirt rally

Does anybody knows if Dirt will run (a bit properly) on a Core 2 Duo T9600 2.8 GHz, Nvidia Quadro FX 770M (512MB), 32 Bits Vista? (6 year old latop, I'm just able to play BNG :p)

I would love to play it, but I'm afraid it will just have 10 FPS or so...

I havn't bought DiRT Rally yet, but I bougt Asseto Corsa back in beta/alpha for $34 CND, played for a bit, waited, came back after final release and I am pretty sure these are the reasons why I despise that game.

    1. AI Hitting me off the road in Golf GTIs
    2. Physics, Physics, how I adore physics, and miss them when they just aren't fun for me, I found the cars heavy or something in that game. Just can't quite put my finger on it exactly.
    3. The reason why people ever liked that game is the innovation in UI which is basically like beamng's now without high modding capability.
    4. I don't mind that I supported the devs they are okay at what they do, but Codemasters, they appear to be avoiding investors and going alone just to deliver the experience they want, they've got balls. [For a company that basically never went the self employed route of going in alone]
    5. Asseto Corsa's drag racing is very bland and over simplistic, even GRID Autosport's drag beats that.
    6. Dirt will get better fast than Asseto Corsa will and is still early access.

I don't recommend Asseto, it has good graphics, pretty standout worthy UI and interesting features along the list being laser scanned tracks, but why do some people defend this game to the death?
Sorry indie Italian devs, but your game didn't suit my play style.

I'll even get all setup and play Asseto agian for my final conclusion in one hour I'll give my thoughts in 2-3 hours.

But no matter what I'd say get DiRT Rally.

Possible, never played it but ilkly poorly optimized as an early access game, however codemasters are usually pretty good at catering to the lower end audience.
Not to mention your GPU isn't compleate boat load, it might just do the job.

Your CPU is what I am worried about but I don't see that game being too intensive on it.

You cant go wrong with either. Assetto corsa does tarmac better, dirt does everything else better. Doing tarmac rally events is far better in Assetto corsa than in dirt. But doing rally events on other surfaces works much better in dirt even though assetto corsa also has suppprt for gravel and dirt. Also dirt has the potential to get better and the devs are actually working on that. But if you want to drive the nurburg ring then you will need assetto corsa.

I think it is just personal preference. I like both but i think that Dirt is probably better value for money.
More importantly i think it is just what style you like the most. Track racing or rally.
