Steam Sales adventure: Gave Terratech a try. The demo seemed nice, so I grabbed a copy. Was quite disappointed. The idea is nice, but how they are implemented isn't really nice. So got that refunded. Maybe later on I will regrab it. Instead I got Elite Dangerous while on lowest discount. Been keeping an eye on it for a while. It's a neat game. Tutorials aren't really that intuitive, but the more I play it, the more I get used to it. SPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEE
Very useful investment: Also: (^if anyone plays this insanely difficult game and knows some tips, pls message me I suck to much at it )
Warning! All of the videos contain some language... Morons on ETS2! A wierd Saint's Row 2 Glitch... Got my Sol Permit in Elite Dangerous, time for a new ship and a voyage across the galaxy. Also have a bunch of crash tests and other videos from BeamNG, but those'll get posted in their respective topic.
Oh man, midtown madness. That game shaped my childhood and probably my life. I was 4 when the first one came out and still have memories of charging around the streets of chicago and jumping over the bridges and everything. I had even more fun with midtown madness 2 though, and especially the tube. I spent so many hours just driving alongside the trains there. It was so much fun to jump over lombard street in the panoz roadster. I loved smashing through traffic in the F-350 and semi. I spent more hours in three then I did in one and two combined. When I first got three, I called up my friend in a hurry to tell him that the traffic cars finally became damaged. I spent so much time just cruising and destroying cops its incredible. I never even 100%'d the game. There are still some paint jobs floating around that I need to collect. The midtown madness series shaped my love for open world driving games, and it's one of the reasons that I'm where I am today. I loved that series.
I feel exactly like you do about Midtown Madness! (Well mm2, never got to play the first one. ) This game completely made my childhood. (gaming-wise at least.) I still have the special disk package of mm2 and motocross madness 2 together. Thing is, my copy of mm2 was in the disk drive of an old PC and was recycled/incenerated with the PC..... It's so depressing...
(imported from here) The main city has been bulked up, an industrial area has been added off of the dead end and road infront of the train station itself altered since this image. But a no clogging junction was born \o/
mmm (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) There has been progress since last time I tried (About 1-2 years ago), but very little.. Looks like the game they are planning to build on this engine is never going to happen :\
In all likelyhood it may not, but the technology itself isn't completely doomed. Sure, it's not moving along too quickly, but the team behind it is being rigorously funded by government mil-sim contracts. And remember, these people are trying to create the entire Earth down to centimeter detail.
This happened while playing the police mod 10.c (this is the only screenshot I have) (imported from here)
