I have updated my CPU to an i7 950 3.4 Ghz and it can run about 3 pick up trucks in a grid map at about 55/60 FPS or so but when I enter a map with a bit of detail like for instance the island map it runs at an unsteady 40FPS or less at medium graphics settings with the bloody dynamic reflections off with one pick up! (My GPU is a GTX650 1gb BTW)
Now I have played spin tires which ran at about 35 or so on a BLOODY WINDOWS 7 PENTUIM D WITH ONLY 1.5GB OF RAM! (I am not sure about the graphics card but it was a low end one)

Another thing that gets me angry is that the game recommended a GTX670 1gb for the high end requirements not too long ago and now recommends a bloody GTX780 1gb! Not everyone has the money to constantly keep upgrading their computer! Not to mention, when I paused the graphics in beamNG when it was in it's development last year I got about 60FPS whereas now I only get a mere 40 FPS!

Sorry for the angry comment, it just bugs me that game developers expect people to always upgrade their computers to handle their games. I understand that the beamNG developers are very busy but it would be better if they worked a bit more on optimizing the game to make it playable for people with mid ranged PC's like me.

We're completely aware of the graphical performance issues and we're working to improve it.

Over the last year the visuals has been improving, and with that decreased performance, right now I can only recommend to play at 40fps or to turn the settings down slightly. Over the next few months you should hopefully see some improvements, as we're making some big changes & constantly working on improving the graphical performance.

Keep in mind, a GTX 650 is not a high end card, and 1GB of VRAM can be very limiting. Our recommended requirements are not final and should be looked at as an estimate.

But yes, a GTX 780 does seem extreme for recommended specs, we'll have to look into that.

Okay then. So roughly how long do you thing it will take before the game is optimized well enough to run on the the GTX650 1gb at medium graphics settings because this game has great potential and I am looking forward to being able to being able to do more in it without the hassle of bad framerate. And I am not just speaking for myself when saying this either. Good luck. :)
