I think it's like a Oldsmobile and Buick. Cheap junker. With a 4 cyl and a v6 ? Still not sure. But this will be awesome in the game.

I though it is that cheap wannabe luxury v6/v8 RWD Lincoln Town Car like.
Is it BOF or unibody? That should solve it.

I'm pretty sure it's based on the 80's GM A-Body cars which means it probably has some sort of extremely anemic I4 and maybe a V6 option. FWD and Unibody I imagine. These are all just guesses based on the proportions of the car though.

I used to own a 1995 Buick Century Custom with the 3.1L Pushrod V6. HERE is a video of me doing a little 0 - 60 like 6 or 7 years ago lol the LeGran looks very similar in it's profile and window line as the older model (mine had the smooth tapered rear window, whereas the older generation had that hideous flat rear glass...pointless and no though put into that styling at all). I quite liked my buick, it sounded great, had a killer system in it, had only 31K miles when I got it, but it ALWAYS broke down...1st day I bought it, the started went when I went to start it after driving it home and I wanted to go back out. then the axles broke, the tranny shredded itself, the torque converter went kaput, and the electronics in the engine were terrible.

They would more than likely have been all V6's in the 80's, definitely FWD.

And OMG this car brings back memories, My grandma, mother, dad's friend AND my grandpa ALL had THIS exact model, same color (different hubcaps here and there) at the same time! My mom's was the "International" edition, which had a fancy badge on it and other than that I dunno what it offered above and beyond what the "non-international" model offered....I think i once read about that on WikiPedia. I always remember I used to think that once you get older, you just get a car and that was that...I also used to think that when you got to be an old man, your name automatically changed to George, since I had 5 Georges in my family that were all old bastards lol

    - - - Updated - - -

Some of the Buick Century's, Cutlass Calais, etc had a crappy OHV 4 cylinder engine, then they also offered the "Quad Four Iron Duke" motor which, to this day, is still an amazing 4 cylinder. There was a lot going for it, besides the fact they stuck that engine in crappy A body cars.

Same here which is why I have a soft spot for these cars in real life to. Still see a few up here that aren't rotten to chunks by now.

Damn, this car is a mash-up between an '86 Buick LeSabre (front), '86 Buick Century (overall body), and '91 Lincoln Town Car (rear).

Hope there's a white stripe tires option for this car.

I think all of the official car threads should be closed until they are in game, so we don't have all these "it looks like" wars

Quad 4 was in no shape or form related to the Iron Duke, amazing engine though, held highest HP/L for a bit, 190hp from a N/A 2.3 DOHC i4 with no VVT/Cam phasers.. also had a H.O. 180hp/160tq varient that was more common than the 190hp W41. Never offered a Quad 4 or even the OHC in a A-body though.

They offered a diesel olds V6 in the FWD A body though lol and the 122 i4 and Iron Duke, and to other V6 powerplants.

A Quad 4 HO/W41 knockoff in beamng would be a awesome swap option though.

This is what I want to see in-game next. Please. I beg the, me and it crashing would be like peanut butter and a jelly mold, getting shot up by a shotgun :D (watch more mythbusters if you want to know what I mean).

I agree that would fit the "You hate it, I hate it, let's smash it" ideology Gabester is going for here.
I'd like to see this in game soon so that I may indeed smash it at high speeds and enjoy it thoroughly.
Also I +1 the idea for white-wall tires. Yes, just yes.

for standard model no white walls on wheels with exposed 5 bolt steel wheels, 1 exhaust underneath those heavy bumpers
for normal model white walls with steel wheels with hubcaps, still 1 exhaust due to the fact its still I6 or4 banger
for deluxe model whitewalls with basketweavers, 2 kinda bigger exhausts with an underpowered v8.

maybe the station wagon wouldnt be a bad idea tho

The devs have more important issues to deal with than adding cars, Also they aren't just making "a" car they are making several. There are only 2 devs to work on cars & they are doing their best. They have to model everything from the frame to the buttons on the dash, they have to Jbeam the vehicles & put them into the game, they have to tweak everything to be just right. The cars take them a few months each, be patient.

What the hell is a straight V10. Is it an inline 10 or a V10 as the 2 are mutually inexclusive.
