If BeamNG.Online (If there would be an Online mode) gets voice chat...that is pretty much where you get those.
THIS. Even more than this, ALPHA/BETA/PREORDER EXCLUSIVE DLC, which I have had some bad experiences with in the past. Specifically Shift2 Unleashed. Even before I had to quit it for conscience reasons, I badly regretted pre-ordering it to get the pre-order cars... the LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO, NISSAN SILVIA, AND ALFA GIULETTA. You'd think, after all the physics complaints NFS: Shift generated, they would have made the sequel somewhat more playable - NOPE! I want my 60 bucks back! They also removed the Hakosuka Skyline from the initial release, then sold it back to the players as part of the Legends Pack. This experience is why I say that overly-enticing or cheeky (holding back popular staple cars like the Murcielago and Silvia S15) preorder DLC is a mark of desperation and can indicate a cruddy game whose developers want to get as many sales as they can before people have a chance to find out what it's really like from someone who hasn't been paid to review it. (The Forza series, with so much DLC per game that it probably costs as much as or more than the games themselves altogether, is an obvious exception, but that stuff is still annoying anyway). With this game, DLC in general will be way worse, since it would make official car minimodding extremely difficult. If the D15 and Moonhawk were DLC, AR162b's extra variant packs would effectively be DLC theft, and that would be sad. For the same reason, I would be super mad bro if the old DrowsySam cars and maps, or the lost RoR cars gabester doesn't want anyone to port, suddenly got brought up to current quality... and then sold as "Lost Classics Pack: _ cars and ___ maps, produced by the developers many moons ago, now remade for the current generation of BeamNG.Drive! Get this amazing content for $19.99! Available 10/24/20! Preorder or join the beta and get free early access!" This is a thread about what people don't want in BeamNG.Drive. I have a right to not want raunch in BeamNG.Drive.
You know what I don't want? Dumb people and their stupid posts with little thought, not fully reading the thread title, and having crappy mods put on this website. That, and not having mods that were started and not finished because somebody gave up because they couldn't make a make a j-beam and/or not finished their modeling of that vehicle that they were making.
I severely doubt there will be in the vanilla version. The devs are making a game, but remember that they're also crafting a technology. While the game (.Drive) is developing, the engine on which the impressive bits run (BeamNG) is also advancing in its complexity and features. Many years from now, when .Drive is for all intents and purposes done, BeamNG (the company) will use that as a proof-of-concept for selling their service of middleware and according support to the developers of other games interested in the tech. Now, I'm unsure of where game developers rest on the professionalism scale, but I'd imagine that a commercial selling a technology does not and should not involve any smut. Doubly so, since the demo is a simulator featuring nothing within the animal kingdom at all whatsoever. Now, on topic: I'm not sure that I see anything that outright should not be allowed. A few obvious things that are unlikely (gore, DLC), but practically everything else seems game to me. It's a versatile technology that has quite a lot of application. The only reservation I might have is if the inclusion of X feature might overshadow the game's purpose and spirit, as was the earlier concern with monster trucks. I will say I'm no fan of the piling up of dead vehicle threads made by starry-eyed hopefuls. In fact, most of what I don't want in game is on the part of the community. But perhaps that's for another thread.
Why? By now it's rather intuitive and options not previously accessible are now accessible. Although you can hide it with Shift - U But why? Wouldn't BeamNG be generally a bigger, better game with multiplayer? You always have the option to play singleplayer. Whatever. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Probably because MP in this game, if it were possible, would be like Euro Truck Simulator 2's multiplayer mod, only worse - trolls and little kids everywhere.
That's no reason to ruin the fun for everyone. There's a reason ETS2's multiplayer is very popular; most people want to play other people. Even private sessions would be fun. You can always play singleplayer and ignore the multiplayer.
A voiced protagonist. oh wait this isn't fallout 4! okay serious now. I don't want devs to spend too much time on the interface.
Because it's obvious? It's not like there's a config line in the game's settings called "lag = true" that the devs just enable if they're feeling nasty.
Or if someone turns the propane tank into a nuke and blow up East Coast USA while crashing all the toasters.
If there was multiplayer, it would probably chock-full of trolls who would keep crashing into you left and right.
You're right ! the solution is 3 posts above yours . And what if someone puts a propane tank on top of their car and attempts to crash it into a wall while screaming Allahu Akbar !!!!
