I've been working on some things in the wiki over time, and I'd like to know what else people want to see in it. So I'm opening this thread to collect ideas that will help the community create wiki articles tailored to the needs of their fellow community members. Suggest away!
i would really like to see how to make maps and how the whole importing heightmap process work, especially when it comes to changing where it's supposed to find the terrain
For Jbeam I made a thread here : http://www.beamng.com/threads/13152-In-depth-guide-to-Jbeam Coincidentally, last night I revamped the materials page on the wiki : http://wiki.beamng.com/Vehicle_Materials
Better maps and descriptions of all maps, including what the difference is between Port and Industrial. Better, more accurate information and performance statistics on all cars in the game. (Remember, I don't have the game because my computer is old and useless. YTers tend to use the same small set of cars and maps all the time. The wiki is my only source of information for the rest of it.)
Information on precisely what each variable means in engine, transmission, and suspension. Like, explain what setting it higher does, and what setting it lower does. Just take a look at the current engine jbeam page. Only 1/3 the variables are actually explained.
I'd like to know how to create basic scenarios. Just something with a start and finishing line, and some some check points in between.
I like seeing the Specification tables about the cars, but half of the vehicles in Vehicle list don't have a Specification table. The 200BX, Covet, Pigeon, T-Series, H-Series and Roamer needs a Specification table.
