This morning I decided to play BeamNG, but when I started driving, the engine was not emitting any sound. All of the other sounds worked and when I even re-started my computer, I still had no joy.

Has this been happening to anyone else?
    Thanks.

It's only the engine sounds or no sounds at all (skidmarks, wind, ambient..)?

Go to Options > Audio and make sure nothing is muted and that your 'Audio Device' is the correct one.
Also check in the Windows Sound Mixer if the game is not muted.

All of the sounds work but the engine sounds don't work (skidmarks, wind, birds all work)
When going into the mixer I disabled some applications and the speakers worked.
Checked options and nothing is muted.

Happens on all cars or just some mods?

Delete your 'BeamNG.Drive' folder in 'Documents' (Backup your 'mods' folder if you want first).
It will make sure no old files are causing problems.

Also, are you using mods that modified something in the game code (More features mods, sounds mods..?)

And deleting the cache didn't work either?
Is your game updated to the latest version?
Are you using some sound cards?
What is your Audio Provider set to ingame? (Should be DirectSound).

Can you send your gamelog (first play a bit, so it can gather the data). You will find it in Documents/BeamNG.Drive > 'Torque3d.log'

    ~UPDATE~
Yesterday-Ran BeamNG goth the blue screen of death (Possibly to do with the game crashing on startup)
Today-Everything works except all of the sounds.
I am now officially stumped as to what the problem is.

Was the game running fine before?
The problem started all of a sudden or after a specific patch?
I don't see anything wrong in the log, apart from this maybe
    Code:
154.87598|W|CodeBlock::exec|<input> (0): Call to setVolume in (null) uses result of void function call.

But I'm unsure if that can be the cause.
In the Windows Sound Mixer, does BeamNG emit no sound at all (does the 'sound bar' moves or it's completely flat)

You also didn't reply to the questions in my previous post. Please do.

Ok, perhaps a clean reinstall will help you. Follow the steps in this exact order:

    -Unistall BeamNG from Steam
-Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from MyDocuments (backup your mods if you want)
-Delete BeamnG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common (If there is still a folder)
    -Reinstall BeamNG.
