Well, no you see all I said in that post was: A: You did type a big rant about opinions. That is known as a fact. B: They are a form of feedback to give an author an idea of what the audience thinks. That is also a fact. So yeah if you feel so morally obligated to continue this nonsense I have a PM button as you already seem to know, which will save this thread being shit on by anymore rants.
Okay, guys. If you don't want to be hated, delete these threads (3 or whatever) and create Private group. Accept all of them who want to be there. I guess it will be better for all of us.
That wouldn't be good if someone just joined the forum and didn't know about the group. The easiest thing to do would be to let the haters and the people with ''opinions'' aka poor crap, go away. If you think the mod is bad, good for you, you don't need to say it, just think it. If it is so bad just seeing this topic, you should really just blindfold your eyes.
My fucking god. I don't have anything directly against the mod, it might be shitty so what, but the main problem is the fact that the author does quite nothing and calls it work. I hate people who do little to nothing and then claim the thing as their own, not even crediting the original fucking author. Yes there are original authors to these mods, in case you didn't care, they are russian yes, but this is their fucking work. I guess that the re is nothing i can do here, as the fair portion of the forums' immature members will keep doing and saying whatever they can to get any mods, as shitty as they are. That is, pretty sad actually.
Am not saying that this mod is fully created by me i gave credits to the creators like i sad i only changed the deformaation fixed the paint and added a thumbnail to the menu.

Improving mods like these are good exercise, I agree that the improvements are not so big, but theres no need to act like a douche. Where are the optimism, where are the nice people? This is not how you treat a fellow person. There is potential in improvements, the author just need to get the hang of it.
I would rather have lots of not so good mods,than play with the same old cars,cause most of the mods on here are likely never to see the light of day.So too the OP keep releasing these russian mods.

And original authors are Russians, they're basically stealing from this forum too on they russian mod sites. What's the big deal?

frankly, the tone and attitude and the blatant disregard for the forum rules in this thread are enough. There are a handful of real charmers in this that throw F-Bombs around as if they are in a pub at 2am. Stop getting so turnt up, and for the love of god, keep your disgusting, foul language and "opinions" (more like flame-posts and hateful comments really) to yourselves. The point of a public forum is so we can exchange thoughts, opinions, and ideas. Not so people can get mad at each other and make people feel bad about doing something that we can download for free. Honestly, the attitude and nasty personality of SOME of the people here are really turning me off. Not like I am SUCH a valuable asset to the community, but honestly the way these forums are policed by douche-bag members and not actually Moderators is pretty sad. I mean, I got an infraction once for a bump, when I actually was asking a valid questions, and another time for "spamming" when I was spreading the word about a quick, easy fix to a problem, yet Atomix CONSTANTLY goes around cursing like a little bratty 9 year old that is with his friends in the back of an elementary school playground sneaking cigarettes and talking about how much their parents are unfair because he can't go out and play since he got bad grades at school. Where is his infraction? Direct from the posting guidlines above "Do not use profanity, even as a joke"....He is not joking 99% of the time. He is an example, and there are tons of other people that curse like old drunk sailors. There are people on here that would PREFER to not read the F Word Constantly. That being said, this mod is pretty great, I love it, and I appreciate the changes that were made. People need to start somewhere with releasing mods, since it's near IMPOSSIBLE for ANYONE to get the hang of it, unless you have 9 years background in serious computer coding and modelling and texturing and everything else. I'd like to see you "opinion" people release a mod!! When the community appears to be a total dick to a new-modder, then other potential modders will just not even try. Way to discourage potential talent!

Here's my big problem with this mod. I don't care about how good the mod is. I don't care whether it's Russian. I only care about the fact that it is being re-released as an "updated" mod. My school provides us with software that checks for similarities between codes to make sure people don't copy other people's work. I have been skeptical about the quality of these updates, so I decided to actually do some checking... First of all, the Jbeam files are still named "fullsize." Not changing this to something that relates to the mod just shows the lack of effort involved in these updates. The files themselves are still headed by "fullsize" and the names are all "Grand Marshall." Keep in mind that these issues can be fixed in less than five minutes by simply replacing these terms with something that actually relates to the mod. But that's not really the part that bugs me. What really pisses me off about this mod and similar mods that have been released is the lack of actual improvement. I ran the main Jbeam file and the original Jbeam file from the Russian Roadmaster to see how much they differ. The results? Crydev arbitrarily changed all of the "beamDeform" values. That is his idea of improving these mods. He was not consistent with his changes, and made no effort to actually make the vehicle behave realistically as he claimed. He literally did nothing to this mod, and yet he put his own name on it and released it here. THAT is why I dislike these mods so much. He took someone else's work, changed random values, then released it again with his own name on it. Quite frankly, I'm fine with Crydev deciding not to release these mods anymore. His "improvements" are borderline stealing. It's not fair to the people like Gabester and Adam who actually invested their own time into these projects.
now THIS i can completely understand and I respect that response fully. He was not a dick, did not curse, and his point came across clearly and concisely. Of course, the FACTS he pointed out certainly make sense, and I am fully aware that a lot of the "mods" are just "changed values" basically, so yes, I agree that these (visually) stunning mods IN FACT need more work, more accurate and realistic values. I agree that these mods might not be the best or worse, released in hopes that CryDev or anyone else taking part in these improved mods get famous from modding. The fact still stands tho, if people want to mod and/or get new stuff in game on their own, they need to start somewhere. Now again, yes, just changing values is not much of anything, since literally anyone can do it, but other stuff like the paint, textures etc being improved is nice, gives people a place to get their feet wet. But my rant above had to do with the lack of courtesy and respect on here. We need more people that ALWAYS try to put on their big boy panties and not get offended or frustrated, especially by newbies, and respond and react in a mature and professional manner. Of course there are times that you can be a dick or funny or immature, but in the grand scheme of things, an Internet forum can be a classy place as long as the forum-goers are responding and reacting in a positive and mature manner. No reason to throw F-Bombs or accost people for asking a simple question, etc. Lets all just get it together, for the sake of the game, since the community for this game is what is keeping the game afloat 99%. The other 1% is the devs. Without a functional, productive community, this (and all other similar projects) would be worth jack-all.
I'll leave this mod then. But whatt pisses me off is how harsh some opinions are. Remember, Crydev is still a fellow person, so think: would I say that to him face to face? Before you post.
