One of my favourite things ever. To announce the partnership between Qantas & Emirates, the two Airlines flew their Airbus A380s over Sydney harbor.

I guess I can post this here

Restored protective walls at the local airport, originally built for a Junkers Ju 88 in 1941.

I remember that. Watched all sorts of videos and seeing one of these with my own eyes is a bucket list item.

For years now I've wanted to see the -900 and even the -1000 make it into the air. The 380 is an engineering
marvel. A stretched MTOW A380 with RR trents taking off in front of me......oh man!

The turnout to see Qantas VH-OJA land still amazes me.

Lately I've been looking into buying an aircraft. The Mooney Bravo has caught my eye but I don't have that kind of money. Any suggestions for an affordable single engine propeller plane?

Well, a Cessna 172 may be your best bet.

Yeah I agree, I learned to fly in one, they are easy to fly, and they're affordable.
