this is my second model in blender since making a cup (that I couldn't bother finishing) I should post in the dev screens first but I find its better to have a thread for it since for me it will help on the development of the model. I did make a thread for it but somehow it was deleted. (this is not a development photo) let me talk a little about the car I'm making (or starting to make) the Subaru Leone is the Predecessor to the Subaru Impreza aka the Subaru WRX. It is the first ever 4wd system in a passenger car before the only closest thing you had to 4wd is offroaders. development very crappy model that I made in sketchup it will not look like this. I will be willing to learn as I go through this project I might need some help along the way. if possible there could be a Subaru Ute as well. I will post pictures of the development on this thread. I have a big announcement I have found that this project is currently beyond my ability to successfully complete if anyone would like to continue this project I would be grateful to hand it over to them and contribute to if needed.
if you want to do something like a ute then you could do the subaru brat. Brat is its american name but in australia it is known as the brumby. it had a 1.6 and a 1.8l engine with a 3 speed automatic and a 4 speed manual. this is just a suggestion from me. so far what you've done looks good.
yep that's what i'm planning on doing my dad has owned a first gen Subaru brumby (brumby) similar to this one he had it for only 2 years he sold it to help pay for his Leyland tractor (he still owns it) the Subaru ute was his first and only new car (he usually buys used cars) back in the 70s cars were expensive in New Zealand because back then they used to assemble cars from CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits mainly to create jobs. he said driving it was like it was running on rails. fun fact Ronald Reagan had a Subaru brat no kidding look it up.
what like this I found out that I fucked up the blueprint setup (I blame it on the guy who made the tutorial)
its not a good idea to speak about stuff like that so early in development heck I'm still doing my blueprints. I will stick with the wagon then add on from there. I would need some help finding reference pictures. just so you guys know I am modeling a 2nd generation Subaru Leone. - - - Updated - - - surprisingly I have chosen to model a car that not many people have modeled before with all of my research I found just one model and in videogames only two have appeared I find this quite sad that the successor (Subaru Impreza) have been modeled so many times while the Leone almost nothing. I defiantly think this is a good project to do since this car hasn't gotten much love. defiantly one of the most under rated cars in the computer world. oh I've set up my blueprints and I'm starting to model the front fender.
I modeled a fender and failed I'm going to leave it for a day since I gut quite stressed over it. if you are willing you can give me some help. I will not give up
Sorry, I can't help out as I have no skills on making complex structures on blender, the closest experience I've had is Autodesk Inventor...

modeling is a very tough skill to get into (or its easy but it depends on the person) I am leaving this project for someone who does modeling and is wanting a project to do. EDIT: try not to bump threads next time.
i can model i just cant jbeam really good i could modifie a old pessima jbeam --- Post updated --- also i want to do a project
you were struggling with an box and tracing an outline. That's no more modeling than a rocket exploding on the Launchpad is making it to the moon
