It's another thing. Again, I'm surprised no one has though of this. Really small mod, but it brings back good memories from 2013. This really should be in the vanilla game.

    Remember this?

    --- CREDITS ---

BeamNG (gabester) for original model + texture
    randomshortguy for quick edit

    --- INSTALLATION ---

    1. Go to Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods/vehicles/hatch
-> You will have to create the "vehicles" and "hatch" folders if they aren't there

    2. Extract the "basicbumper.zip" to this location, so that it looks like the image
-> Make sure to extract, simply placing the zip in the folder will NOT work

    3. Fire up the game and enjoy

The Covet is base model enough already

So why not make it MORE base model? :) Perhaps you should make a really low end Covet.

The Covet used to have unpainted bumpers, but the pre-race update changed them to painted. This mod just brings back the original bumpers.

I know, I had BeamNG before the pre race update but, I was stating that you could make some things to make it more base model, perhaps a cover where the radio would've been, or having a plastic front fascia.

Would be a cool part to have on the base model covet, the rest are fine with the painted ones.

hmm a base base model... 12in steelies, no radio or ac, no power steering, weaker engine, like a 1.3 sohc baby engine. drum brakes all around, no windshield wipers, no airbags(o_O), no speakers of course, all manual locks.

airbags were only in luxury cars when the Ibishu covet was manufactured anyway and wait aren't cars supposed to have window wipers?

Here's a good idea for the base model engine, the pigeon I3 engine or, that can be for the Ibishu Covet-i... (The economic version)
