What is your GPU and what OS are you using?
If you're using Windows XP or anything lower than that it simply wont work.

Ah yes, I see the problem.
It's probably because your GPU doesn't support DX11, which is required for the game to run properly.

Ok, stop telling everybody that. DX10 cards work fine with the new update. Also, there are people with DX11 cards that still have this same issue. You're not helping by copy pasting the same false information on every post about this.

DX10 cards will not run DX11 applications properly. Period. That's the way it is. DX11 applications may run on DX10 cards, but not properly. EDIT: They may run properly, if they don't use DX11's new features that aren't in DX10.

I had the same problem on my DX11 card. Try turning off the Steam overlay and any screen recording programs (fraps, bandicam, etc).

I'm running the same GPU and OS. Mine also stopped working after the second update featuring DX11. I can't understand why it worked absolutely fine on the first DX11 release.

I contacted BeamNg directly and was told to use the Beta (available on steam if you go into the options) which is an older build of the game which does still work with the GTX260

I know that my PC needs massively upgrading to cope with modern games, but I'm unlikely to be able to set aside the cash for a while - so it would be nice to be able to keep playing the latest releases of the game until then.

It was that version which caused it to stop working, so it could be that fix I suppose.

I realise the GTX260 is an old card these days but I'm convinced it is just something minor like the above that has caused it not to work.
