So hello BeamNG community. Hows it going? Well for those who don't know me, I made the 1994 Silverado with the help from another member about a year ago? It's been so long. Well I have been dormant for about a year now. You sometimes loose interest in things ya know? Life has been kickin' and havent had much time to spend on the computer. To all the people who supported my last Mod, thank you. But the Silverado and the WIP Suburban are not supported and the Suburban was accidentally deleted (8 Hours of J-Beam work down the drain...)

Anyways! I am here with a new project, but I'm going to need some help. This new project I would like to start is one that I would love. Over the winter I went and sold my beat up Sunfire and bought a 2005 Cobalt SS Supercharged. A car I've wanted since I played Need For Speed: Most Wanted back in 2005 when I was 10. I finally have my hands on one. It would be awesome to see my car in this game and be able to smash this american supercharged beast into a wall going 65mph.

I've realized I am no good with modeling. I've tried and am still no good. J-beaming is what I am decent at. Still a lot to learn but I am good at changing form. I have found a model for this build, but it needs work. A lot of things need separation, and things need to be modeled (simple things) such as the front frame. This build is going to be based off of the 200BX J-Beam. It will be converted to front wheel drive but I would like to have one RWD LS2 V8 swap verion.

I have to offer J-beam work. Get the car to show up in game, and I'll take care of editing the J-beam. I know I'm asking a lot but I think this would be a great mod to add to the game. Anybody who would like to help please send me a personal message.

I can't wait! I have no experience in anything. If I could help I would gladly.

He has gained fairly extensive knowledge of jbeam from previous projects, found a suitable model for this project, assessed model and the changes that needed to be made, and he has created a detailed and well-written forum post regarding the project and asking for help. That's a lot more than anyone else does. He didn't just make the thread because he wants attention, and he even owns the car!

There is no evidence of any of this being true. There isn't even a screenshot of the downloaded model.

It's simply impossible for someone to put this much effort into typing this if he's lying about everything. I don't doubt him one bit, but I'm sure he'll give you proof via PM if you feel it necessary.

Just calm down and let it play out. He's an honest guy and he's shown that he knows his way around modeling and jbeam. He wouldn't bs all of this.

So I guess my $8000 Cobalt SS that I work 40 hours a week to pay for isn't proof enough?

    Or this model I have?

I already have a mod that is all over YouTube and was loved at the time of release. The suburban model I was working on had extensive work done to the J-beam (a little over 8 hours worth), which was lost when I was cleaning up my computer. If I get model help this project will be quickly on its way to being done. I can edit a J-beam in a week and edit it all raw. Code by code. Hell, I'm in College for computer science. I feel you should do some research of my work before assuming what I'm capable of and my credibility. And sorry its been about a year since I've been active on the forums so forgive me. And let me know any picture of my car I will go and take it. Ask me any question on the cobalt and I can answer it on the spot. If you don't believe me that's fine. But I had a reputation built here a while ago and I'm sure some people like Potato still remember me.

On another note, I have been gone for a while. Who on the forums is good with model work?

That's a really nice car you have there. Can you state the specs?

Not much so far. Mostly Cosmetic.

-New Lights all around (headlights, taillights, HID's LED's and so on..)
    -Plasi Dipped rims
    -Painted Brake Calipers
    -New Pioneer radio and Subwoofer
    -Cold Air Intake
-Other small odds and ends stuff

I am going stage 3 in may of 2016. Right now the timing chain tensioner is broken and the timing chain is very loose and is rubbing on the guides. It's going in on Wednesday to get fixed. Would do it myself but It's a project that would take a few days to change out all the timing chain components. I have no time or place to work on it plus I need a car to get to work and College. So to the local Chevrolet dealer it goes. Its a costly repair but its all so worth it. It's a common problem with the LSJ engines.
