Hello, I haven't posted in the forums much but I found a problem in the latest version that, while most probably wouldn't encounter it, it might be good to bring some attention to it.
I modded the sunburst to go 275 mph and when I crashed it around on the grid map for testing, I found something interesting with the physics engine. This is repeatable, I have more footage recorded.
When crashing the car in 8 times slow motion, then quickly changing the timescale from 8 times to 4, then 2, then realtime, the physics engine will "bug out". The body of the car will deform very quickly after the initial crash and the physics engine will stop working. The game must be closed from here as any attempts to respawn or replace the car with another have no affect. I am greeted with a "beamng.drive has stopped working" message.
Obviously not complaining because I'm changing the game by modding the car's engine, just thought I'd bring some attention to it in case the developers want to fix it in a future update.

Video (If I'm not allowed to do this just remove the link, sorry):
Start of the crash: 0:16 seconds
    Bug occurs: 0:30 seconds
Slow motion of the bug: 1:18

No... it is not caused by ANY of your theories, rather that if you crash any car at almost 300 mph it will glitch out and does NOT crash the game, the game detects that it is being unstable and freezes the physics and resets the vehicle rather than letting it get so unstable that it crashes. to fix this just press J to unpause the physics and you will be fine.

sometimes you have to mash j but yeah, still not a bug more than going 300mph into an edge. edge colissions are slightly buggy normally, 300mph does not help

I didn't know I had to unpause the physics after that happened, that's good to know. I had no ingame notification of that so I'll remember that. It didn't seem to happen when I crashed at 300 in realtime, or if I watched the full crash in slow motion, only when I changed the speed mid-crash. Nonetheless, knowing that I can fix this by unpausing the physics, I can close the thread. Thanks!
