updating breaks my settings

    everytime i update the game my settings get reverted. for example, i modified the controls to be WASD to drive the car. i also have everything maxed with 1600x900 res. when i updated, the game reset to its original form (excluding mods). its not that big of a deal as it only takes me a minute to sort everything out but is there any way to prevent this?

    Happens for me too with my controls, so I have a backup of my controls and then replace them on every update.
