...No, you extract the delsol folder into mods/vehicles, then do the same with my mod and overwrite the files. Your file structure should be mods/vehicles/DelSol/<files>.
Glad to hear it. I'll make the instructions a bit more specific in the first post to try and prevent this in the future - - - Updated - - - Bit of an update: Factory B18C model is ingame, and the model itself is about 95% done I just need to do some proper textures for it and fix some small shading/face normal issues.
This mod is fantastic. I love the dedication to these cars, and I'm not normally a Honda fan! haha. Keep up the amazing work man.
So I'm in the process of texturing the B18C and I cannot for the life of me get normal or specular maps to work. I've literally copy-pasted materials that have working normal and specularity maps, changed the texture references to my textures, and the only texture that shows is the diffuse. No errors in console, no indication that I'm not doing something right. Could really use the help of someone who has successfully textured something in Beam.NG :| Edit: Eugh. Apparently shader quality has to be on Low, not Lowest, for normal maps to show. Damn my potato computer!
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I have the up to date version of this mod and I can't get any of the clutches to work with the stage 3 turbo K20. I played around with the tranny, diff, and clutch, and it slipped with everything.
The S5 XTREME Competetion Clutch should be able to handle up to roughly ~850 Nm, have you tried that? If so, I'll look into it. It could simply be massive wheel spin as I can't get traction control to work properly with high-power engines (or TC doesn't work the way I think it does)
Yeah I tried the S5 and it's not wheel spin, it is definitely the clutch slipping. If I release the clutch at high revs in any gear, or the power band is reached at all, the engine pegs and speed creeps up faster. No loss of traction, in fact it is more planted when this is happening so I'm sure it's the clutch. Again, this could be my fault, but I am not sure what I would be doing wrong.
