Hi guys, I've completed the modelling of a Banger racing car (which could be used in the destruction derby mode when that's released) . Here's the question though, the file is a 3ds file , what do I need to convert it to to get it in the game, and how do I get it in the game?

You need to export it as COLLADA (.dae). That still won't be enough, though, because you need to basically rebuild the vehicle out of nodes and beams for it to deform. Check out Content Creation for reference.

Let me use this topic for my questions about mods/new modelings..

I think it's really hard, and takes much time to make whole car in to the game, but I would like to know few things before I even think about making my own cars.

    1. What programs do I need
    2. Most important steps making a car
    3. Working gauges, steering wheels, indicator switches etc
    4. Crash modelling, I think there is strong parts and less strong parts?
    5. Possible use ready 3ds max models (after convert and some things..) or are these so different?

    Sorry about my English skills

There is one car I have made in 3ds max (someone of you have seen this already) (fictive, Amaggia R340)

I have read this http://wiki.beamng.com/Content_Creation a bit, but I still have no idea about many things.

Wow, you are an amazing modeler. Do you think you could get some of your cars and rims in BeamNG Drive?
