Hello all, i have for you my very first mod, an offroad moonhawk! because well you cant beat muscle cars offroad! (if you get the reference i wish you a great september 4th) done/wip/not started engine w/ more power tire swap tire tuning lift kit awd want anything beyond that list? let me know and i'll do my best to make it happen! the tires are taken from the gavril d-series for those who want to know, i am going to change them at some point, the gavril tires were just a proof of consept known bugs: suspension is as stiff as a board, and is far too fragile drive shaft may be a bit weak Credits: gabester: moonhawk, d-series tires narwhal2: showing me how to tire swap, awd swap, lift, mesh, and j-beam adjustments Jester The Joker (me): swapping tires, messing with j-beam, making the new engine config please do tell me any bugs, they will be fixed asap you will need to go the the cntrl+w screen and click save/load to spawn the offroad.pc version, i dont know how to add it to the spawn list
The easiset way to AWD swap it is to copy paste the differential code(s) in suspension_r.jbeam and just changing RR/RL to FR/FL .
...and lifting it is as easy as copying the coilovers and springs into new parts and increasing the precompression of it.
thank you, i was changing the wrong value! no wonder it didnt work - - - Updated - - - when i do that the moohawk crashes
no because i deleted it when it broke the moonhawk - - - Updated - - - also narwhal, would you mind awd swapping and lifting it? you seem to be better at this than i am. i will credit you for it obviously
heres an update: i have ran into an issue with this mod. the nice man that is narwhal2 lifted. and awd swapped the moonhawk. but we ran into one issue, the rear suspension keeps breaking. me and narwhal have both been faffing around with the rear suspension code and it just does not work... ill update the first post and add the new version in
You'll need to get rid of the limiters if you want more travel without it being stiff. But youl have to adjust tge inbound travel alot so it wont pop through the vehicle when you land a jump. As for the rear being lifted youl need the relocate the upper 3link lower that way you have no axle wrap and it wont brake. Ive made a super lifted moonhawk so i know its possible to work around. I hope some of this helps
