this would be cool for the ute version of the Moonhawk 1977-elcamino-13.jpg
but I guess we have to wait until we have the option for two tone paint jobs. also a canopy would be cool to have.

Anyone else experiencing trouble with the supercharged big block (423 or something?) and both manual transmissions? They feel as if the gear ratios are extremely close (closer than a close ratio should be, and the problem is evident on both manual options) or the clutch is slipping bad. The problem is only with the supercharged 423 and manual transmission combo. the other engines are fine.

Sorry for the bump, but there's been updates on your Gavril, and the release of the Grand Marshall, do you think we will see any updates on this anytime soon?

There is a such thing as too many parts, there's lots of parts for this pack and I'm satisfied with the Moonhawk the way it is, but maybe a few updates would be good. :)

We NEED a fastback! We also need a more Muscle-esque type of moonhawk, since we currently lack much muscle. We have too many flabby imports! WE NEED MUSCLE!

Hey AR162B, I have a bug to report and a suggestion for whenever you update this mod again.

First off, the supercharged 423 doesn't have a manual trans that can handle it. After playing around with it I've determined that the problem is essentially a slipping clutch, or whatever it is that beamng does to simulate the connection between the engine and trans. When you accelerate with that engine and trans (both the standard and close ratio 4 speed) the rpms skyrocket to redline in every gear without breaking traction (well, 1st gear smokes the tires throughout its rpm range but 2nd, 3rd, and 4th act like the clutch never grabs fully), yet the vehicle continues to gradually accelerate. This is easy to test and validate by holding the breaks and dumping the clutch in 2nd gear like you would with a standing burnout.

This brings me to the suggestions.
The drag parts that you have now are sweet but I feel like they could be expanded upon.
First off, I think that a 'tubbed out' interior would compliment the mod well, and add the possibility to add a shorty rear axle and proper drag slicks.
I'm sure that you are already familiar with those parts but I'll include a few pictures anyway to show what I mean.
First, this is a tubbed out rear end for those who don't know. It is done to make room for wider drag tires.

...and this is what a shorty rear axle looks like with the aforementioned tires

If you felt like introducing a drag racing oriented automatic It might be cool to put a valve body ratchet shifter in place of the 4 speed's stick, like this one. you could even make it move like the console shifters already do in the some of the vanilla cars.
    shiftermounted.jpg

The rear axle could have all of you're racing oriented gear ratios, but with names like "4.10 welded" replaced with something like "4.10 w/ drag spool" (It would function the same, but the name change would be simple and more accurate for a drag car then welding the rear end)

Finally If the added grip of the drag tires was substantial enough to do a wheelie, which it may or may not be depending on how beamng interprets such thing, you could add an option for a wheelie bar in place of the rear bumper.

Alright, that's all I can think of for now. The mod as it stands is already excellent and if you don't want to add any more parts to it I wouldn't blame you, given how much time and effort that has already gone into it. Keep up the good work man; I can't wait to see what else you will do with this game in the future :D.
