How long did you play the tech demo before you bought the alpha?

Quite a while actually; fine tuning my graphics, controls etc.

Also couldn't get to the bank until monday (yesterday)

 

I was already planning on buying it when I saw the mention of mod tools but was sold 200% when I saw that it was rather well optimized already (with headroom)

Purchased it right away, because I knew it would be of amazing quality.

 

i pretty much crashed once... and i was sold.

 

I have been here since February. I've planned to buy since when I was at so much of a loss for a username that I called myself Potato. I did play the tech demo for a few minutes just to see how I would run it. I knew i was gonna buy it, though.

 

I knew this game would give me a bad case of the evil grins as I purposely misjudge that corner and hit a tree! Purchased the alpha while downloading the demo.(cough cough, while at work )

 

Why would you do this

 

Saw a few videos on youtube, sparked my interest, downloaded tech demo, about 5 minutes in I was throwing money at the screen.

 

0 minutes.

I saw a thread on a PC forum I post on about this game, watched the vid, read through the forums here, and purchased it a day later.

 

I never play the demo, i buy alpha and i play 4 hours in the 1st day xD now i play... around 2/3 hours per day =)

 

Over an hour, but I decided within the first 5 minutes. I couldn't take myself away from the tech demo, I was having to much fun. Then the game crashed and I decided to go purchase the alpha.

 

I played it for 2 minutes maybe and watched the latest trailer they put out and i followed the link to buy it and i did ^^

this game will be great!!

 

20 seconds,to see if it runs

 

For about 2 days, then the money was on my PayPal account

 

What demo?

 

10 - 30 Mins, around 20. Mainly had the demo to make sure it worked then i ended up playing it for a bit then i bought it

 

I bought the game and downloaded tech demo over phone network

 

Took me about an hour to get the full version in my hands, after the moment I crashed first time in the techdemo

 

I played the techdemo to see if my PC could handle Drive.
Then I played it 'til I had time to buy it, maybe an hour or something, IDK.

 

10-30 minutes, then I couldn't resist longer
