does 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 work for you? (Poll)

Nah, it was working fine on 0.4.1.0 which was DX11 only so that can't be it.

EDIT:
I just noticed in the 0.4.1.1 update blog post, it says the invisible car glitch was fixed for DX version 10.1 , so therefore my 9600GT and other DX10 cards should be compatible.

 

The update works for me, except for the stanced Pessima. The suspension has some issues, in the front its like there is no coilovers, and in the back the wheels are not centered with the body.

I did some experimenting, and I figured out that the suspension issue is because I had collision set to off to help framerate, so the suspension couldn't support itself for some reason. Maybe this will be fixed sometime.

 

Typo, the game uses dx11 which is not supported on your hardware.

 

Not a typo. DirectX 10.1 couldn't compile the vehicle shader but that has now been fixed.

 

4.1.0 worked just fine

That's (probably) due to the card just not having the power equired to run the game.
It's a 9 (?) year old (back then) low end GPU, so it doesn't surprise me that it's not working.

 

dX check says I have DX11

 

NVidia documentation says you do not.

DX Check only confirms that DX11 is installed. It does not confirm hardware compatibility.

 

The only time I had an issue with the game on steam was when I moved to another OS and didn't update my GPU drivers. That was a long time ago though.

Intel HD4000 isn't all that bad, I've run quite a few games pretty well and it runs this game so so, but that is probabaly because the CPU is being used up so much + the games graphics.

My PC hit a hard issue when the DX11 update along, IIRC. I can hardly run the game now, used to run great with someone high settings, and now I am lucky to run 2 cars at a steady 30FPS at somewhat low settings on an empty map. It is all GPU related. I have DX12 installed, if someone can help I would greatly appreciate it, specs for desktop on in my sig.

 

I have the first GTX model that they made and its still compatible AND MY DIRECT X IS AT 11.0

Mines a 8 year old but it says its on 11.0

 

While DX11 is indeed installed on your PC, your GPU itself only supports DX10.1 (or less not sure)

 

Mainly it broke a few of the modded cars and the sound mod doesn't work anymore, which REALLY pisses me off because I hate the default sound so much and I worked for a pretty long time finding custom sounds for these things

I've also got never used mint condition GPU still stuck up the computers buthole will that work if I switch it out
