Started working on something I always wanted to do in ror but never could, a huge off-road/mx/destruction park map. I plan to realease it in 2-3months, also to do Test Terrian 2.0 and 3.0. Thanks to the Dev Team for the original grid map on wich this is based and to LJFHutch for his amazing and inspirational terrains Released because I want to start over - I have made a lot of mistakes as it's my first map and I want to start on a clean new enviroment. Re: [WIP] Test Terrain 1.0 looks nice so far, far better than what i have been able to make. I got to ask, does anyone know how to fix rendering problems with terrains which have been modified height on and when you drive on it it stops rendering and you drive on plane nothing! Tricky to explain

Re: [WIP] Test Terrain 1.0 2-3 months?? why such a huge timeframe? I'm going to have my allegany map completed probably within the month, and I've been releasing betas every day! Oh well, the map does look great though! I was thinking of making a large dirt track terrain myself
Re: [WIP] Test Terrain 1.0 Looking really good, kinda reminds me of Motorstorm Are you planning on keeping the grid texture for the start ramp? Using the wood texture from the jump would probably look pretty cool.
Re: [WIP] Test Terrain 1.0 I am away on holiday so I will have max. 20-30mins to work on every day and the map is still quite empty. Also I am kind of a perfectionist and every track most be detailed realistic smooth and perfect in my eyes - - - Updated - - - No, I plan using concrete texture but as I am quite new to modding I couldn't figure out yet how to change it. @Never mind, I found out after searching a little bit, looks quite good but stills needs some tweeking
Re: [WIP] Test Terrain 1.0 Ahh ok, that makes sense. And I know what you mean about smoothing... too bad the terrain smoother in Torque sucks, it's more of a terrain leveler. it's great for leveling paths, but it is terrible at actually smoothing the terrain.
