Re: beamNG drive does not detect my graphics card

Looks like the game sees it just fine. It even says it's an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX. I'm guessing the laptop doesn't have anything but the NVIDIA graphics, meaning you don't have an option in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Are you sure its not just the game? It is relatively hard to run (especially at higher graphics).

The game is already using your Nvidia Card (as it says GTX675MX)
Generic Monitor is normal for certain monitors, not an issue.

If you get low FPS, start by posting the full specs of your PC and OS.

Make sure the CPU isnt running too many background processes, beamng is very CPU heavy.

I find it weird that you are showing us a desktop CPU and a mobile GPU. That is a very unusual combination...

Are you running Windows on an iMac?

It could also be an all-in-one Windows machine, many of those have desktop CPUs and mobile GPUs IIRC

There is an iMac with the exact same CPU / GPU.
In that case it could be thermal throttling.

When you press the J key (pause physics), do you get an FPS increase, or does it stay at 30?

It appears it deactivates "CPU Throttling" which allows your CPU to get hotter and it won't slow down..

This is however dangerous because if your Laptop doesn't have adequate cooling you could kill your laptop all together.

it also tells you the temperatures, i shut down my laptop if the temp reaches 95C, stupid HP should put a good cooling system, it also lets you undervolt, so you can have the same performance with lower temps, (if done correctly)

Have you ever gotten over 30fps on this game? Maybe your system isn't powerful enough. By the way you say it's at 30fps though, it sounds like VSync is limiting you. This can be disabled in the game options.
