Doing experiments.. Extracted an High-Res Satellite image of the "Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Internation Airport". Placed in Blender and tracing the zone I want to build my roads on. The plan is to create a mask, that I will mix in World Machine in a second phase and get an heightmap with those zones already flattered down. Plan is to make everything fit in a 2048x2048 map, but I will probably have to scale the map bigger.
The new (In development) SBR4C This is the only model that was discarded after the first release. Well today we recycled the idea and here she is. THE NEW AND Unimproved SBR4C. With speed this makes you the most dangerous driver in the world! Why? Because a hard crash will fold you're car like a soda can! CRUNCH! Support by paying $1,000,000 to bring it to life! or for you're money to make me new cars! If you want to do the work and finish these a lot better just PM and ill give you the .DAE file
The original plan is to have a prop with two setups. A North American version and A UK/Europe/Aus version NA = Front Wheels turn rear wheels don't Europe = All wheels turn I don't want to plan anything too ambitious before I've decided anything. But that doesn't mean you should lose hope.
(imported from here) A small improvement. Or maybe this is better? [Basket re-scaled, this will get a remodel later anyway] (imported from here)
You wanna add some smoothing to that model in blender there? - - - Updated - - - I've improved upon the chassis/frame scale of the kart. [Sorry for spamming at this point lol] (imported from here) Progress left until beta state: - Basket Remodel - Basket Connection Components - Modeled Wheels - Handle Detail - Revision
That looks like a totally detailed and fine model to me. No seriously, you should stop with these GTA ports , the quality of the models isn't even close to good enough for this game, even with superior textures. These models are very old and need way more work put into it. You'd probably be better off just making a whole new model instead, or atleast importing from modern-gen GTA games (GTA IV or GTA V). OT; fixed some stuff on the R33 Estate. It still looks weird.
What are you using for your modeling? 3DSMax Maya Other? Because that obviously doesn't look like blender. Nice model by the way. I am trying to improve my poly flow.
I use 3ds max 2015 Also tbh if you wanna improve your polyflow Id just suggest you to have as little tris as you can and a good density. (AKA the R33 has quite a few issues)
Well my shopping cart model uses 8 verts in all circles and about 2-3.25k tris all in all however the basket model that is there to allow you to see a cart and not a wonky stroller for children takes up a whopping 17k tris which will be cut down to something like 1.7k-3k I feel 6-7.5k tris will be okay for something like this, I mean the Pessima is 70k tris. But yes thank you for the tip, it will help me in other places where everything isn't extreme circles. - - - Updated - - - ---------------------Poly Flow Question--------------------- To anyone who can answer my question... How does one get smooth polyflow on the mostly flat [depending on the design] protions on the wheelwell/mudguard area on race cars like this? I am not really sure how to properly model these without getting botched polyflow.
