I got a logitech g27 the other day, and so far I love it. It works great in game, though I do have some questions on how to properly use it.

I want it so that each vehicle's steering is as close to 1:1 as possible. Only problem I'm having is that I have to go to the controls menu and change a value so that it's as close to 1:1 as I can get. That value is different for each car, and sometimes even different steering parts for each vehicle are going to be different. Here are the settings I'm using:

The value I have to change is the scale. For example: the covet needs to have like 1.2, while the stock d series is more like .65, and the off road variant may be .9.

Also, is there anyway to enable the RPM indicator LEDs? I saw a blog post with them working a while back, but I don't know if they've been implemented.
Edit: heres a link to the blog post showing them working: http://www.beamng.com/entries/97-Input-Controller-support

Thanks in advance for any help, and sorry if this has been asked. The search feature doesn't seem to be working ATM.

1:1 ratio is hard to get right. The G27 has up to 900 degrees of rotation, but some cars actually have more than this. So you will never get the rotation right without modifying the jbeam for those cars.
The rally covet has 540 as does the pigeon. I'm not 100% sure but the race covet has 720.

The settings to adjust the degree of rotation are in the global setting in the Logitech profiler, not in game. You will need to change it every time you switch cars. I hope in the future they can make the game adjust this setting depending on the car.

I rarely use the cockpit view because of this. I just set it to around 540 and leave it, and the fact that 99.99% of the cars are left hand drive puts me off the cockpit view even more.

The LED's will work properly again in the next update, but there is a work around to get them working. While BeamNG is running, unplug the wheel and plug it back in. LED's should then work until you restart the game.
    First mentioned in this thread.

Also the search is only useful if you click advanced search and select thread titles only.

    Hope this helps :)

This is in the works and will be available in some future release (not necessarily the next one).

It works but you have to reconnect the G27 while the game is open. This is not the intended behaviour, it has been fixed already so the G27 LEDs will work normally again in the next update :)
