processor error

    i have had this error for a wile, and i am wondering what it means and how i fix it.
    plus the fact that it makes no sense.

    It's saying that you would get optimal performance on a quad core processor, you have a dual core processor. You can only "fix" this by getting a quad core. Just ignore it, it generally means you can't run as many vehicles.

    Not necessarily, I have a 6 core AMD processor and it says the same thing for me.

    Because to BeamNG, an FX (Bulldozer) "hexacore" is effectively a tricore. Bulldozer chips are constructed of two "core" modules, which share some components between them. One of those components is the floating point math unit (FPU) and the kind of math BeamNG needs to run relies very heavily on floating point computations. With only one subcomponent capable of that type of math per two cores in an FX series chip, they fall short.

    That isn't to say they're bad chips, I own one myself and am very happy with it for what I paid.
