Forum changes

I like whichever one gets rid of the bar that sticks to the top of the screen no matter where you are on the page.

 

A potential issue, friends now appear to be followers and those work oddly on xenforo. If it hasn't been changed I think I'll be getting alerts any time a friend I have posts a thread. Not a huge deal, but interesting.

 

Suggestion: Have the slideshow "fade" and add BeamNG content.

 

Things that need to be removed:
Likes received under a users name
Notable members section
The forum is already a large enough e-peen measuring tape

I wish the forums page was dedicated to different sub forums, I dislike how cramped it is when shown alongside your profile.

 

It wasn't directed to you, it was for everyone

 

I want the option to choose the color of the green bar.

 

Notable members has a useful place. TPU! has a system where most members don't thank unless it's useful, so thanked members there are the most helpful people on the forum. Not sure if it's the best idea here, but I could see it.

 

Also, why is there a settings slider when you scroll down that directs you to the home page?
EDIT: Also, we don't really need the post scroller next to the search bar, we have a scroll wheel.

 

So far I'm impressed with the realtime changes going on and I feel 100% satisfied the devs are going to take care of us guys. I'm stunned at some of the comments going on by long term members.

 

Uh, why has the avatar size limit decreased? Xenforo wants a 200x200 image in a 50kb size.

 

I like the new layout, gets away from the Rigs of Rods forums look, but I think mainly tweaking over time will make it better, and follow more demands.
I think it would be cool if we could choose the color of the forums per person, but I personally think it should be orange, to match the logo. I think there is enough of a difference between beamng and ROR to prevent confusion, which could be a reason for not using orange.
Edit again... I feel posts is a better alternative to messages in the profile.

I really wonder how you graduate adjectives... They are currently building the forum up again, it takes time. It's not unusual that such a process can take days to complete (incl. fixing stuff)... Be patient and show some graditute please. :/

Yeah, I like number two. It looks sleek and minimalistic. I actually really like the color theme too.

And when and if you get around to it I think a dark theme would be a very nice addition.

Btw., you probably know this, but the forum links you're posting doesn't work and redirects you to the old site (maybe I should clear my cache?).

Can you please make the page selection on the bottom under the reply section. To me that makes more sense.

 

Love the new forums. change is always fun and good, plus it gives us comfort knowing you guys took the time to update the forums.

 

I'm confused and I'm not even drunk this time.

 

I don't like how I only see the person who started the thread's profile picture instead of the car in the mods section.
