How DO you mix sounds together? Is there a tutorial anywhere? I hate the default sound with a passion...
I have been doing it for years... It took a long time to learn how to loop sounds without clicks and pops in them, as an audiophile I hate that with a passion. Countless days and nights finding secrets to good audio loops on the internet. [took me well over a few years to be able to find anything that works for my purpose] I've been literally mixing sounds since 2011 and I was around 12-13 back than. [When I started using that for Rigs of Rods]
I mean how do you manipulate the soundscript code for use in BeamNG? I remember being able to do it for RoR, but now I need a tutorial for how to do it for this game. I already figured out how to swap sound files around, but the numbers don't make sense to me yet :/
upon diving into it, I learned the workings of the soundscript in a good week or so. Takes some time to get it right, as of right now the soundscript is limited and does change the entire sound of the original engine a little more than you might initially think it might. [in the way that the sound is undesired compared to what you recorded when played back, however it is miles better than the single sound method]
Small answer, do any of the stock BeamNG cars have one? Right now I just want to deal with the performance side of things so I can get this thing closer to release.
So you are basicly saying you want him to go back to the old and obsolete design just to fit your needs? The lights are there for a reason, mostly because there is nowhere else to put them except for down there, that is also true on the real-life counterparts of this car, if you were to put the headlights higher up you would need a bulkier body shape and more weight and drag, just for the position of headlights? it just isn't reasonable. Suggestions always help but don't be bossy and rude and be like "GIVE ME DIS NAOW OR I LEAV". And im not saying this to only 1 person this is to everyone, Its slayersen's hard work and time. if you don't like it you are always welcome to leave, he is the decision maker here, if he wanted to delete everything or release it now or break the smoothing groups for no reason he could, be thankful that he is still posting progress on here, if I were flooded with 1000 comments telling me DO DIS DO DAT I would probably go insane. This message was provided for the support of others, not for the degrade. if you felt degrade, well im sorry.
Lol, editing one's own things doesn't break smoothing groups, however it does mean you have to etch out an ugly model and than tweak it for a pretty while. But honestly I agree and feel the headlights are best positioned where they currently are. Off Topic: Slayersen, The nearly voiceless man. Sick as a dog, oh gawd whi?
I believe all GameNoob was doing was making a suggestion, that's it. I kind of agree with it but ultimately it is your choice.
Well I made up my mind to at least do something to make the headlights feel higher up. -Headlights slightly raised -Face Pulled Back -Splitter farther from headlights but overall body length not changed -front end raised slightly.
