BeamNg was working just fine running at 60 fps and then when I updated to 0.4.2.2 I started to get unbearable amounts of lag when I start the game and in game. Its incredibly annoying, please help :(.

    Hardware? Laptop? Overheating?

    Power Settings?

If laptop is it plugged in?

-----Graphics To Change On Lower End PCs----- [I don't know your hardware yet]

    main things to change...

Lighting Quality - on Normal or Low instead of High
Mesh Quality - Low [Not VeryLow due to bugs]
SSAO - Off [Very Graphically Taxing]
Lower RealTime Reflection Settings such as - Frames per update, and Resolution.

Mesh Quality alone can improve things alot on low over normal and still looks considerably tolerable.
Very good for Med-High end GPU with Med End CPU combinations.

    PC
Video(or graphics) Card: GeForce GTX 760
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 CPU 3.6GHz
    RAM(Probably doesn't help but whatever): 16.0 GB

The only thing that changed since it ran 60 fps(Capped) was that I updated my video card driver.

Did you try clearing out background tasks and bloatware running in the background..

You'd be surprised what garbage can use 30%+ of modern CPUs in the background.

A GTX760 is a pretty good Mid-End GPU... and that CPU seems capable.. I assume you are running a desktop idk what OS you run [windows xp, vista, ect]

There is so little I can do without knowing your In-Game settings, what map you are testing on and with what vehicles.

Running windows. Nothing running in the background except chrome and testing on gridmap with the pick-up truck. All in game settings are all default like when the game is installed.

I do not know what the default settings are and if I were you I'd at least try restarting the computer.

    Sometimes that helps sometimes not.
