So, apparently "this" is a thing now. I honestly couldn't care less about what people use for their avatars, as long as it isn't blatantly against the forum rules.
all i'm interested in doing is attempting to get an explaination from the devs as to why they chose to remove 6677's avatar (and why, if this is the reason, others aren't thus considered "questionable"). if that means changing my avatar to incorporate steve buscemi's face to spread awareness then so be it. i have further modified mine as such to simultaneously emphasize buscemi while showing off my impeccable skills in paint.net. EDIT (for clafication): everything i have said in this post is satire. albeit grounded in some amount of reality, but mostly satire. sorry if this isn't clear (and i realize now it isn't). obviously nothing will happen and obviously it isn't a big deal. as i stated in my long ramble on the previous page, the tos explicitly states that the devs are under no obligation to explain themselves (and are 100% justified, if they did remove 6677's avatar). i just think their tactics of moderation are a bit of a rabbithole, that's all.
just for clarification: i am not taking this as seriously as how i have sounded. what i have been writing is satire, albeit grounded in some amount of reality. sorry if this isn't clear (and i realize now it isn't). i just think their tactics of moderation will lead to a bit of a rabbithole, that's all. but hey, if it's an excuse to have steve buscemi's face in my avatar..
This thread seems to be drifting much further from it's original purpose, and doesn't seem to be getting back to it anytime soon. If you have concerns with one's avatar, feel free to contact a moderator about it.
