You said you messed your .DAE file. What did you actually did, and what file you changed, and in which folder are the files YOU edited.
I copied the .daes into a folder, then edited them, then copied the original .daes in a separate folder, I tested the edited .daes (I replaced the .daes with the edited ones), then put the original .daes back, put it still has the edited version, even after I delete the entire vehicles folder and verify the cache.
Are you sure that the .DAE you have backup-ed is correct? Knowing the exact path of where you put your modified DAE can help. -Delete your whole 'vehicles' folder located in Steam /steamapps /common /BeamNG.Drive -Delete your whole BeamNG.Drive folder in MyDocuments (backup or not the mods folder) Then do the Steam Verify thing again.
Thank you for clarifying! I have not yet, but I do believe I'm gonna get crap for not having my steam account link and my BeamNG account linked because it is difficult and complex to do so.
No. This forum is a public place, and redistributing game content there is not ok. It would help to solve everything if you answer my question above and put in detail (with the directories as well) what you did. There are many ways to edit .DAE, and you haven't specified your method, so I'm going clueless. Did you modify the .DAE files located in Steam/Steamapps/Common/BeamNG.Drive/content/vehicles (That means you replaced the original .DAE with yours in the ZIP)? If not, which one?
I did replace the original with the custom, also couldn't you just send the .daes to me in a conversation?
No, there is no reason for me to send the files if you can get them yourself from Steam, which is way safer. There is no reason for you to trying to get the files from other users. Also, leaning how to fix this issue in this way will allow you to fix this and all you future issues on the same way rather than asking for files. Since you don't seem to want to say the exact way you modified yours files or if the method in my latest post did the job, I will tell you to simply clean reinstall the game ad extreme solution. Follow these exact steps: -Unistall game from Steam -Delete the BeamNG.Drive folder located in MyDocuments -Delete the BeamNG.Drive folder located in Steam/steamapps/common if there is still a folder. -Reinstall Simple as that.
