Seems you've come across a setup that causes absurd stress on the rear axle and creates odd instabilities.

it should not be possible to do so because, the same power and stress is applied with the "Drag" setup

I said instabilities, obviously something is inherently wrong, are you applying braking and throttle what exactly are you doing to cause this under this config? Just accelerating.

The grand marshal used to have an issue with the driveshalf and live rear axle setup that caused it to break under throttle if the brakes where even slightly engaged, this is a bug.

I can only assume they are just going need to revise something in the jbeam

The rear axle likely has too much stiffness and needs more weight, or reduced beamdamp/spring.
