Okay so heres the thing, a little while back I had a Dell XPS 630i and it worked on this game untill they switched over to dx11. I got a new computer and reinstalled the game and well... It ran but it says that my 6 core CPU wont work real well with it and guess what I HAVE A GPU 4x THE RECOMMENDED GPU!!!! (Check my signature and you'l see) So it runs at max setting, everything is fine no errors or nothin' but it keeps saying that my CPU is bad and I'm afraid that my CPU is going to pop under pressure and I'm gonna lose my $700 brand new PC. So yeah am I ok? (P.S there is no lagging nor crashing so and my GPU is making the highest framerate ever on the game so not bad for that GPU)

you have a picture of an unlabelled gpu and an unknown a series cpu. You have no signature.

what are your specs? Although the a series is low end parts only

Thats a low end $60 APU... Why would you expect that to run the game, hell that would be bottle necked in alot of modern games.

Well its a long story but here it is short. I couldn't go over $500 but I had too and I was getting a even crappier CPU but they upgraded it for free so yeah BUUUT IT WORKS AT FULL FPS ON FULL GRAPHICS ANYWAY :)

So I'm stuck But, I learned to always be happy with what you got even if it sucks. Like my handme down Dell XPS 630i it lasted 8 years and the graphics were great even for a dusty GTX 260 and a old ass dusty CPU. So I'm fine it works great anyway Dell XPS 630i.JPG

1; Your CPU shouldnt pop or fry on BeamNG, as long as its properly cooled. Any processor that isnt Intel as far as I know will give a caution message on startup.

2; 700$ is not a budget I would recommend for a build for BeamNG... All of the builds I have looked at, just the PC alone, are around or over 1000$. Which is why I still have a crappy rig.

3; The framerate in the game is largely based around your Processor, not your GPU. Ofcourse your GPU affects the framerate, but in BeamNG your processor plays a bigger role. Intel works the best, but AMD will do if you are on a temporary rig. Just dont get anything really low end from AMD, because, well, All I can say is you get what you pay for.

Not sure what you consider 'FULL FPS' because there's no way you're making 60fps with that processor. Maybe on the infinite grid map

HE is not pulling anything near 60 FPS. Not even on the gridmaps. My a8 5500 apu will not pull a full 60 FPS on any map, which is why I have the frame-rate limiter set to 30, for a stable frame-rate. I am guessing that he isnt getting a result all that much different from mine.

I am guessing he has around 30 FPS on the gridmaps, and from what I can see, it can give the illusion of a good framerate in beamNG.

That sounds about right, similar to what I get with the fx6300

I can run every vehicle in the game on my Foothill Mines terrain without destabilizing my FPS at around 30-35 FPS, although I can only use one car at a time and I have the collisions between vehicles set to off. Works for me, since I drive more than derby :)

I to try to avoid crashing (although I do love the outcome). I prefer to just drive. What GPU are you using?

MSI r9 270x 4GB. Could've gotten a smaller card but I thought that the more video memory the better some of my games would run. Its a shame I never Identified the real problem until I came to the beamNG forums :(

Dude, a GTX 960 is not 4x over the recommended specs, maybe the minimum specs... but still, I have a 960 too and its not a super gaming card, yes it plays games well but its not OH MY GOD THE POWER IS TOO STRONG FOR ME TO HANDLE SOMEONE HELP ME fast.

Oh right on, I have the 280x with 3GB. I know right beam kicks my processors a**. Otherwise my fx-6300 has been pretty good to me for most games. It's just that beamng uses a car per core method. Which kind of sucks for me as I rarely have more than 1 car being simulated. Imagine if there was an option that allowed for your whole CPU to be used to simulate 1 car.

The GPU is good, The CPU is not.

I think disabling collisions between vehicles does this to an extent, because I get a framerate increase when I turn off the collisions o_O

To be honest I've never tried that. Going to give a shot here in a bit. Thanks for the suggestion.
