Downloaded updates without using Steam

Like everyone else, I've used Steam to download updates, but now I've moved to university, in the university halls on their network. Steam doesn't load on the uni's own network, so I can't get the newest updates.

I've done some googling to try to find a way to access Steam, but I haven't found a solution. I only use Steam for BeamNG updates, so I was wondering if their is some place I can just download updates and manually update the game.

 

You pretty much have to wait till tdev updates the offline version, which takes a looooong time.

 

You are going to have to stick to the old version for now. Most mods should still work, so you won't be missing out on all that much for the time being.

mabye thats why the non steam version is cheaper.

 

Thanks anyway, I'm currently trawling the internet in a desperate attempt to make Steam work.

 

VPN/Proxy is what you need
