    It seems in this update something seriously wrong has happened with the physics, accuracy is much worse in slow motion when in car to car interaction and cars to props also, I used to do slomo to get more accuracy, in heavy collisions and when driving over or hitting loose car parts on the ground, what have been changed ? can it be fixed with a slider in options maybe for us how wants more accuracy in the simulation? If you guys need more info just ask :)

    Your post doesn't explain what is the accuracy change you are seeing.
    Nothing has changed into that, the engine is accurate as it has always been.
    Also, going in slowmotion doesn't make the simulation more accurate. It always runs at the same rate.

    I read somewhere a long time ago (on this forum) that when in slow motion, the physics had more time to calculate everything that happens under a heavy crash, and i have seen this when i use 4-6 cars, if i go in to slomo. i get a higher framerate, and the cars do not glitch as much.

    After the update I have found if in freeroam after I switch cars a few times and drive for a while all commands such as ESC and CTRL+E and CTRL-W cease to produce any form of response and the speedometer freezes. Interestingly, I am still able to fully control the vehicle I am in.

    It is like the transmission is slow. I fixed it never mind.

    The changes in terrain friction have made it pretty difficult to keep the power on the ground with either of the drag cars. Both of them will lay down rubber, drag tires or not, pretty much until they run out of gear. With how the game works I'm pretty sure that this is intended, but at 1200hp the Moonhawk should definitely be able to do a more substantial wheelie.

    The ground friction is probably more accurate now, but I have to ask if we're going to get an actual prepped drag strip in a future update to really take advantage of those monsters. As it stand the Moonhawk doesn't actually do enough of a wheelie on standard tarmac to justify the wheelie bar.

    My gavril somehow get back to the previous version. I accidentally copy a mod to wrong folder. How can I backup the game data?

    So, spawning the Sheriff's version of the Roamer comes up with no livery and the front grille "cut out" or missing(this applies to all the Roamers). The only mods I have so far for the D15 in general is Atomix's Ibishu Dove and the facelifted D15 along with Sam's Towtruck, other then that, I have deleted cache.

    Yes, I'm aware you can do that, but even then it still does much less of one than it did prior to the update.

    Here is a video of a Chevelle doing a huge wheelie from a standing start, though it admittedly does appear to have a bit more tire than the Moonhawk.



    As the video shows it runs a low 10s quarter mile, and according to a quick search you need a good 750hp to get those numbers in a Chevelle. This car probably hurt it's time by doing the wheelie, but either way 1200 would be plenty for a Chevelle (which to me seems like a good real world comparison to the Moonhawk) to get that number.

    Yes, it is on an actual prepped drag strip and was able to do a burnout to get it's tires good and sticky (which to my knowledge is impossible in beam), but this is still an example of a real car doing a real standing start wheelie with less hp (but probable more gear) than the Moonhawk.

    I hadn't really though about the possibility that the problem is on my end however. Do you lay rubber clear through 90mph?

    As a side note, the drag Moonhawk is incapable do a standing burnout because the front tires can't actually hold it in place. I have never seen a drag car that suffered from that problem. That car in the video had the same setup as our Moonhawk (pizza cutters on front, slicks in back), but was still able to do a standing burnout just fine.

    Any ideas how to bind my steering wheel?
    Mouse and keys bind without any problem, but with the steering wheel all I get is a blank key (like the screenshot posted some posts ago).

    Hey again, I did some more tests last night, with a lot of different cars, trying to crash them slow, fast and standing still, removing bumpers and grills to see if its gets better or worse..... Some time they bounces of each other and some times they get stuck in each other, but they get stuck less in realtime and more in slow motion, hope I`m explaining this right. And I tried with 5 cars at ones driving around and i got 40-50 fps in realtime (that is impressive) went in to slow motion an had the same fps, no increase. Can it be my windows version (I have Win 10) I don`t want to start anything here, this is just my thoughts, and if you guys haven`t changed anything in the core physics, ill back down. And when all is said and done this was and still is an awesome simulator, i still get impressed with what this software can do :D

    Here's a regression. Starting with v4.3.x scenarios which do not have an image will fail to load. This did not happen in v4.2.x.

    These examples will all fail:

    Removing the "previews" line entirely also causes the scenario to fail to load. The console does have some mostly uninteresting output that you could look at when the scenario doesn't load. Adding a preview image does cause the scenario to load properly, so this is not a big issue by itself.

    I wonder if whatever causes this unexpected behavior could be causing other problems as well?

    Some things I've found
    1. New Folk wheels are unstable sometimes.
    2. Rear window heat lines remain after window shatters. (may need to watch in HD)

    Ah, meant to report this before. I noticed it's caused by mixed use of "preview" and "previews". There, I maybe possibly but probably not saved you 10 seconds.

    Also, restarting a scenario while in free camera still fails to actually start the scenario after reloading.
