I have collected more cars within the past week. Same deal as last time. ***SORRY FOR THE LONG POST *** First up, a 1977 Bruckell Moonhawk Police special. What a car that was! A stolen T75 was flying through main street in an eastern Cali suburb, and this police car happened to speed up to the front of the truck, and slowed down in an attempt to stop the speeding semi. That was the worst move in policing history, that I'm sure anyone could make. The semi collided with the Moonhawk, and sent it into the side of a bridge. This is a dead car driving, as the car almost went through the barrier. Running the stardard 343 V8, large radiator, electric choke rubbish, police lights, police system. This is one tough car, as I purchased it at a police auction in 1986, and drove it home. Did a few laps of the yard, and parked it up under a tree. Dug it out today, fired up the motor and drove it to the gas station. Has severe rear end damage, and general dents all round. Front suspension needs looking at, otherwise would make a good derby/parts car. Doubt it can ever be registered again because of its state. The mechanics were able to escape in the Grand Marshall, but the car was destroyed. It barely drives, and the motor still knocks. A simple fix of the front right suspension and an inspection of the knocking noise should leave you with a half decent derby car for the Christmas derby in December. If not, ask for a part. Comes with the standard 195HP 370 Cube V8, a reliable engine. I have the service history and it states that a rod bolt keeps coming loose. If nobody takes it, I'm launching it over a cliff in 2 weeks time. It was an escape car for some bank robbers, and was beaten up by police. In the final scene, they launch it over a lot of parked cars. To everybody's disbelief, the car was incredibly strong and still drove afterwards. Has damage in the rear, and to the front. Might be repairable but would be costly. This car comes with your standard 232 6 cyl, which still goes strong. Has a 3spd floor shift manual. Collectable trans and rare on this model. Car number two, was used daily by a middle aged couple until they cracked the engine block. The block was weld repaired, and the car was driven another 90,000 miles before the radiator and water pump broke. The car was parked for 6 more years until I purchased it in 1995. I proceeded to transform it into a demolition derby car and drove it at the Beamolition, in Ohio in 1996. It won first place! The car was then shipped back to my yard where it still sits. The motor is not, but would need a total rebuild. Also has a 232 6cyl engine, this is one hard wearing engine. Has the 3spd column shift auto.
