It should work perfectly fine with BeamNG.

To start; Is the controller actually supported on PC? From past experiences with the Dualshock 3 controller, I had to get tons of drivers(And viruses, Thank you very much xD,) before I could use the controller on my PC.

Yes, Use InputMapper. I currently use a DS4, and i completely love it, and infact, you can use the touchpad as-well :).

    Another cool feature :D

Suggesting that MotioninJoy is the good choice or the bad one? TIA

EDIT: Google nailed it down quickly, MotioninJoy is the bad choice. So is the consensus that InputMapper is the preferred solution?

I never had one problem with InputMapper, i quite adore it. Motionjoy is complete junk, and should never be used. When i used my DS3, it barely worked, and sometimes it would freeze, etc. It's complete junk.

    I know I did xD
Back when I did it, I was pretty much unaware of the risks of it. But today I would rather go buy an actual gamepad instead of trying to use
Motionjoy is pretty much a hackers dream come true. Because the entire tool is web based, a hacker could use the tool as a backdoor into your PC.
I have heard there are alternatives to using the Motionjoy interface, but you still would have to install the interface for the drivers. Which is a virus in itself.
All the other programs I could find back in like 2013 were not going to let me use the joysticks or the SIAXIS controls, so thats why I ended up screwing my PC.
Dont use Motionjoy when there are alternatives out there that will allow you to use your controller virus free.
And as DirecTV would tell you,
    Don't be like this me.

for DS3 you can use SCP drivers, someone put up a tutorial, cant remember where it is though, i set it up and it works like a dream, it maps the PS3 buttons to the obvious Xbox ones (X=A Circle=B etc.)
