Saab 92. It has about the same amount of drag as a Koenigsegg CCX and this was first made in 1949.

The next Alfa Romeo that is coming to the United States, the 2017 Giulia Quadrifoglio.

And the next Fiat that is also coming to the United States, the 2017 Fiat 124 (Yes, it has the chassis from the new MX-5).

Personally, I prefer the look of the MX-5. The front end on the 124 seems too bulky for a small roadster, and the body looks slightly disproportionate with the top up.

I think all air cooled volkswagens are the best looking affordable cars ever made.

One of the best looking new cars is the Hyundai Veloster.

Both of those are cars I have/had.

The magnificent Honda NSX! Such an amazing car. Love it.

The NSX in all it's glory:

    a.jpg b.jpg c.jpg d.jpg e.jpg f.jpg g.jpg

The new NSX doesn't deserve to bear the name. It looks like a toy and doesn't have the artsy lines of the true NSX (including the first generation which I also like quite a lot). If you look at the NSX both inside and outside, it's obvious all details are thought through intensively.

I'd go so far to say that the NSX is art.

No sir, the Bug eye Subaru in my opinion is one of the most Iconic Subaru's ever to make it onto this Earth therefore how could anyone hate this beauty? I think the only reason you are the only poster on this is because there are so many cars out there that are as nice as this. So no you are most certainly not the only person who likes this!

I wouldn't totally discredit the new NSX, it's extremely beautiful in my opinion. It's Honda/Acura's interpretation of the modern super car of today.

I do understand what you mean though, It could've been so much better... I think they should've gone beyond with it... it seems like they started with a fantastic idea and just turned it into a kind of marketing ploy... it's sad honestly... It does perform well, it's efficient, it's comfortable... but it isn't a full blown in-your-face super car that the world needs...
We're going to have to face the reality that one day, there won't be loud, extreme super cars... but maybe the silence and gusts from hyper all-electric monsters... fingers crossed.

Anyway... I love this little French roadster, the PGO Cevennes <3

See your point, but they chose to credit it the name "NSX", that's my problem as it doesn't live up to it's name.

If you compare the new and old you'll see that the newer has a messy design (especially interior). It has plastic boxes/covers and seams, overlappings and lines going everywhere this way and that way. There is no clean symmetry, no carefully thought out lines. It goes to show that they did a hell of a good job with the originals interior when it's miles better than newer vehicles of today.

Also from the outside it has rough and messy lines. It has a design approach that fit young people I would imagine. If you look at the old one, it's the kind of car that doesn't brag. It doesn't shout. It presents itself eloquently, yet you'll learn to love it if you get to know it. It has passion.

I also feel that it has this unique spirit as it's development was influenced by legendary F1 drivers. Ayrton Senna for example convinced Honda to reconfigure the chassis and they also made a special version of the car. Senna is the kind of driver that drove the old open wheel cars without all the computery bullshit of today that drive the car for you. His involment also improved suspension tuning and handling. I'm convinced that the original NSX would not be what it is without the influence of the key people that were involved. Without them, it would be yet another "could have beens".

It also had Recaro seats that were super comfortable. If you've ever sat in a Recaro seat (they make all sorts of kinds), you know what I'm talking about. Comfortable as hell. I mean, it had everything other supercars didn't. Reliability, easy handling, comfort... And it was still an insane track car.

So as much as the new model is cool and everything (also considering the Honda engineering work underneath), my brain is getting non-stop errors when I see the NSX-emblem on it.

I also wonder if I make this a bigger deal than it is, but after an assessment I concluded that it's totally rational! *Derp-nodding-smiley-face*

To me, I see that most " spiritual successors" or "revival" of most cars are somewhat controversial, like, some cars pull it off very well, some just don't, and some are in the iffy neutral zone. And yeah I can see several cars in the past, the NSX among them being subtle, discreet, and humble, while their modern counterparts are basically like "LOOK AT ME EVERYBODY" And again, some cars pull it off well, while others just basically draws negative attention. I will say though, I had the privilege in taking the new NSX for a test drive while car shopping with friends. Not wanting to be biased or anything about the car, but it just handles so much better than I had initially expected, when I first saw it on that Gran Turismo 5 teaser video, this was back before the Hybrid hyper/super cars like the Porsche 918 Spyder or the Mclaren P1 came around, so my first impression was that the NSX concept wasn't really that "fast", basically I was comparing it to the Nissan GT-R to say the least. I came across the concept NSX again, this time when all 3 of the hybrid hyper/super cars were being compared on this car magazine I read, if I recalled, the performance stats were rather really sub par than I expected, actually much lower than comparing to the GT-R, let alone comparing it against the Porsche, Mclaren, and the Ferrari, though this was back when all 4 cars were still in their concept/prototype stages so the specs were most likely speculative, but even still, it was still really low for something like this.

But anyway, I got to take one for a test drive, and it just literally took me off guard. I'm just speechless to the way how it handles, most times you don't feel the hybrid system hindering the car's performance, well rather you feel it assisting the engine. Probably the most sporty car I've driven, and I thought my Lexus was sporty-ish enough, having driven relative's and friend's boring Civics, Focuses, or Sonatas, and my bulky 4Runner in the past (and this is. Welp, time to see if I get lucky and find a GT-R or even maybe an LF-A to "test".

    Edit: Oh yeah,

My NSX is best NSX because high-maintainance-headlight units.

Aside from my obvious favorite MA70 supra, i also like the 300ZX, after this one it kind of went back to it's roots design-wise, far more bubble-like and far less door-wege.
The Z32 looks like a late-90s car even though it was designed in the late 80s

    ^Or is there...

But seriously, what is making someone think its nice?
What is the deal with the unnecessary lines on the hood? That is just awful.
And then there is the thing of it actually being a crap vehicle...
    (talking about the pick-up)

Having my eyes scooped out with spoons is perfect competition for it. Has there ever been a good looking Silverado?
