I wouldn't mind seeing a light aircraft like a Cessna 172. I've always wanted a plane in RoR that has been subjected to decent soft body physics and to do crash landings and chip the wings off watching it tumble towards the ground in a spiral. Passenger planes like a 737 would be a bit overkill, especially considering the amount of nodes and performance issues it would have... View attachment 614
This would be awesome, but I'm not sure if the final game will even have planes. As much as I'd love to see one, it doesn't seem likely. Once the game is released, I bet someone in the community will make one. Rapid Suggestion: fuel truck (with explosions ). (imported from here)
Seeing as the current car list seems to only be American style cars and imports, perhaps we could see some European cars, like a hot hatch and big BMW-style estate (station wagon). Or even an old Russian Lada, there's enough videos on YouTube of them crashing
You'll need to be more specific. What I'd love to see is different types of buggies and other off-road toys and utility vehicles. Also Gabe, I know you've got a Beetle knockoff planned so you could make it customizable into a buggy
This is the best suggestion to be posted in a long time. A VW bug has a lot of potential to be customized, so a knock-off version would be just as great. For the name, how about the "Stadtwagen" (meaning "Town Car" instead of the original Volkswagen, which means "People Car.")?
I've been bugging Gabe with a Beetle for a long time because I've got one myself in real life and love them and he said he's already got a Beetle knockoff planned so I'm eager to find out how it'll look like. He can't make an exact Beetle because they're gonna make money on the game so he has to make a car that simply resembles one. I hope it won't be too different because I'm picky with my details on old (especially German) cars. Another suggestion could be a knockoff of an old VW bus. The Type 2 Bus to be exact (the very first one with barn doors and the "V"-front).
If we're talking about Beetles, I suppose a Citro?n 2cv would be a nice addition too? Even weaker than a Beetle, with a 2 horsepower engine(well, the original ones...)... Either that or the famous Citro?n DS, including adjustable air-suspension. I'm curious to see how close Gabe can get to a real Beetle without copying it though. Not because I don't like them, in fact I love them, but with the Beetle being such an iconicly shaped car, it would have to be really close, I think, otherwise it just wouldn't feel right, I think... Isn't the T1 the one with the v-front? Unless you mean type 2 as in the Beetle being a type 1... I guess the "t" in the official t-1 names only means transporter, and not type... My mate's got a t2b which is the one with the horizontal grill below the window. The t1 is the split-window bus. To be honest I'd rather see the t2a or something than a t1, since the t1 is such a beauty I'd get much more fun out of crashing a t2...
A general shape can't be copyrighted but minor details will have to get changed to get around copyright so Gabe can get pretty close without getting into trouble. Also yes, VW T1 is Beetle and VW T2 is Microbus. The "Type" is what chassis they use. T2 is both the bus with the V-front and the one your mate's got because they share the same chassis. Type 3 is all the different versions of VW Variant
A small, front-wheel-drive wagon would be cool. a car designed like the '91-'96 ford escort wagon would be cool to have in Beamng. (imported from here)
Could You do something like this (imported from here) and name it Gavril Noir w/ y95 tow/ haul off road pack. (imported from here)
doesn't this look quite exactly like the (already pretty much finished and very beautiful) gavril d-15?
I know its supposed to look like a silverado, But I wanted one that was made different w/ the Y95 (Z71) Package
