adding a new file for the parts selector

hello. im having trouble adding a new part in the part selector. there is a thread similar but its not my problem. i am trying to add two sets of fenders on the covet. i have added the names in the hatch.jbeam and in a new fenderscopy.jbeam file

heres what the names are in blender
its fender L01
and fender R01

If you want the part to appear in the same drop down menu with the part you are replacing they need to have the same SlotType.

 

but what if i want to add another pair of fenders? what if i want to be able to change out the stock ones with the new ones through the parts editor?

 

They all appear selectable in the drop down menu. The SlotType specifies which one. Check the sports parts how they are set up.

 

Where are the sport files in the hatch? im looking all over the hatch files but cant seem to find the sport files, all i find are the stock files. when i open them theres no sport parts in their either.

 

They're in the files, for example the rally front coilovers are in hatch_suspension_F.jbeam on line 311.
