Backup Download?

Hello there, I'm here (again) with a set of questions...
So, before you moved to the new forum, there was a section entitled "Backup Download".
Now, was that meant to be for when you accidentally broke your game, and you needed to re-download it?
If so, isn't that a rather dangerous system (for piracy etc.)?
And thirdly, where did it go? I'm beginning to mess about with modding the sound, and it might come in handy when I inevitably break the game.

Steam, everyone should be using steam by now. no backups, others who dont own beamng can download it if there was a backup.

 

But if the backup is only accessable by people who ownd the game it would be great
bwcause for expample i dont have steam, and i can't use it because my internet is blocking the steam server connection and i cant use an other vpn.

 

The backup download was a download only accessible to owners of the game, for people who did not want to use Steam.

If you are modifying original files, you can restore them by doing the following:
- delete the modified files
- go into steam
- right click BeamNG.drive
- go to "Local Files"
- click "Verify Integrity"
