Update Game?

    Okay so I'm sitting at version 0.4.2.2 of BNG and I cannot find how to update, I thought I could find it on the forums, or even get an e-mail but that never happened. Am I doing something wrong?

    Where did you buy the game?(Which official store? Like steam, Ect.)

    I didn't buy it, a dear friend did. he said he used my e-mail for it but I never received one. Does this mean I must buy the game myself?

    From where you redeemed the game?

    If Steam, then Steam should keep your game up to date.
    If Humble Bundle, then you have to redownload the game each time an update is out (Or you can activate the Steam Key you get)

    If in dubt, contact our support ( https://support.beamng.com/ ) with the correct details and we will help you retrieving that mail.

    My friend bought it from Humble Bundle, he downloaded it (to his computer) and put it in a very highly compressed file for me and send it to me via Dropbox. The link is now removed for some reason. He didn't give me the steam key (if he even got one). I am growing a bit suspicious :/ He is declining to respond to any e-mails I have sent him, so I kinda getting mad now. I'm sorry if I'm wasting your time with this nonsense :(

    sounds more like your friend created a pirated copy of his copy. If you would have bought the game you would have access to the humble bundle page. I hope that you understand that we cannot give out updates to anyone who acquired copies using dubious methods, friends or torrents...
