If you had to give a percentage on how complete the game is, what would it be?

    In all seriousness though, 64% because I would think getting everything "started" (the core game/engine) is the most difficult/time consuming part and now it's just adding content to the existing (obviously a lot more than that, but I mean physics engine wise)

    Yeah, I'd say about the same. It seems that the core physics engine is more or less complete (though that doesn't mean that they won't tweak it), and content (cars, maps, scenarios, campaign etc.) is what they are currently working on.

    more like 20-30 fps but still you cant mod console games legitimately.

    Just look at the version of the game,
    0.4.3.2/1.0.0
    Thats how i look at it.
    minor update that includes fix and other stuff, those are the v 0.0.0.2 in the 0.4.3.2. and then monthly major updates that are the v 0.0.3 in the 0.4.3.2
    thats how i see it as.

    Lets see. When this game was "avalable" it was in 0.3, now at this moment it is only at alittle over 0.4... almost 3 years later and still almost infinite progress can be made, as well the progress is speeding up exponentially as more people are hired. There is no percentage, its infinite.

    If you mean in game mods, Simple; turn the Repo into something more like DLC.

    At the repo level the beamNG devs would have control of the content at that level. So that would reduce the risk of licensed content being DLC.

    69%. There are many things need to be added, like:
    Online multiplayer( with servers )
    More cars
    Story mode
    More parts to choose
    More maps
    More liveries for cars
    Traffic AL
    ...
    But after all, BeamNG is already a good game

    First of all, I'm only stating an opinion (OP did say choose between 0 and 100). I don't care if anyone agrees with my approximation, or if anyone is forced to take in whatever I say. I'm just making a point that there is a lot that needs to go into this game before it can be considered finished. For example, adding a large fraction of the features I stated would bring the game up to about 70% easily, and (in response to another quote) that takes some time, yes, so I won't expect these things right away.

    (And I updated that post because of the advancements made to the game since 0.4.3.2, when I originally posted it.)

    Second, I don't think the game should jump versions to 0.6.0 or 1.0 (or 2.0 :confused:) unless some massive feature update will bring the game to that level of completion; Multiseat, a new vehicle, vehicle tuning, vehicle keybindings, and turbochargers for 0.5.0 as an example. 0.5.2 seems reasonable, though, again that is just my thought on the game's current status (as far as screenshots and micro blogs go). You're the developer, so you can choose whatever numbers you want (go ahead and call it 2.0 if it's that close to done) and just ignore me.

    I'm sorry if speaking my mind to others about the game's state bothers you in some way. Would it be better for you if I just said, "This game is nowhere near finished. I thought that it would be perfect by now, but nooooo it's still terrible and laggy and I want a refund!" like most people?
