    This car has been dumped (both models) due to mistakes I have made :'(

    This is my first car ever and i just started to learn how to use blender today.
    I was wanting to get some tips and opinions off anyone who knows their stuff so... here is what i have got so far:

    Nice work! keep going and i recommend you to use some more polies. so the car will look good.

    You shouldn't use just one polygon for a surface, even if it looks correct. Not only is it the wrong way to model, the physics in Drive will do some funky things with the deformation of your mesh. To better illustrate my point, this is how you should be modeling. Lots of polygons (roughly) uniformly sized to form surfaces.

    For the purposes of the image, I've merged all of the car parts together. Whether you want to model the whole car as one piece and separate later, or model each piece separately from the start is up to you. I strongly suggest you scrap what you have, and start again; it'll look much better, and you won't have to clean up later on.

    Well I started it again and looked at other models as examples and got this:
    Much more satisfied with this one :)
