Xbox Controller Not Working

Im having trouble getting my xbox 360 controller working. Your supposed to be able to simply plug in the controller and play, but when i do plug it in the light on the controller just flashes and it wont work. i've tried using a rechargeable controller and a simple double A powered controller but neither worked, and im using the cord that comes with the charging kit for the controller. Id love it if i could get a response.

 

You need a Hard wired xBox controller it cannot be a wireless controller unless you have a microsoft wireless receiver. Also you cannot use the play and charge kit it need's to be a hardwired controller

im using a hard wired rock candy 360 controller but it still wont work could you possibly help?

 

I have a Logitech F510 (Xinput gamepad) but it doesn't work too.

I've tried plug in before i start the game, in main menu before click play and in-game but didn't work.

Any suggestion about this?

BTW: game(engine) is very good, i'm glad to buy it but i really want play it with a gamepad, keyboard controls are horrible(like every game )

i have the Razer Sabertooth and it is not working either.
and yes, it is hard wired

 

You need the right input map for the Rockcandy, check out the utilities and programming section of the forums. You will see a Rockcandy inputmap.
